I recieved a call this evening from Treeing Walker Legend , Jimmy "Wildman" Meeks ,who many of us owe a debt of gratitude to for his Yadkin River line of hounds such as Yadkin River Jeff, Yadkin River Chico and Yadkin River Champ to name a few of his hounds that so many of our dogs of today are desended from.
He asked that I post this for him. He gets on the net and reads the message boards but has not yet signed up to where he can respond when he wants to and wanted to respond to this one.
He wanted folks to know that he had hunted with LilRed and if anyone wanted an honest opinion of her from someone who has hunted with most of the top hounds from years gone by to call and ask him.
There you go Mr. Meeks.
I enjoyed the visit.

if u all ever plan on breeding lilred back to a redbone check out eddie terrys dogs in muncie indiana. i'm not a redbone man but after hunting with his a few times i wouldn't have a problem feeding one of them. i've seen them tree coons in indiana and in the hills in ky in thin population.
