It doesn't matter what light you pack in the woods if the dogs don't put em up!
id say with all the new led lights coming out id sit back and wait ,they will get better and cheaper , as soon as you buy one ,the next day a better one will come out

Being somewhat of a gadget guy myself and having even built a few (there not rocket science!) They are all pretty similar/same. I know that is not something people wanna hear or admit to....but! Most companys do pretty well standing behind there gear, voltage vs dollar are pretty equal and output seems pretty much on par with each other. The vast majority use the same head or at least offer the same styles (5100). When I did finally did buy/keep (aside from the several I borrowed and probed and inspect) I put my money on the feather weight brite eyes 28volt light. I have no regrets and for the money it seems to be great performer. I would look into what voltage you want and look for the best deal at that time.

Trust me, they are out there.......!!!

Boss triple threat is the best light out tbere IMO very light very bright great spot, best customer out there and bottom line if you can't find it with a boss light well it's not there!!!!the boss light gives you every possible option to finding the coon!!and if you think you have to burn the tree down just put his flamethrower on your side as a reliable backup to show people that a clump of moss 60 ft up is not a coon!!I'm going on 3 years now without any issues to speak of !! Also the klite is a bright reliable lite made by one of the best in the buisness!!! I can't believe some of the names being tossed around and they aren't even in the same category !! Imo

I own an 18v coonbuster box light. I got it on a trade and the light is probably 15 years old. Works great and I have had it for 2 years. I passed that to my step son.

I own a laser torch 1 and love it. Not the brightest but for walking and general use it is wonder full.

I have a nighthawk 21v belt light that I got on trade. It is a great light and j have had no trouble out of it.

I hunt with a kid who has an L.E.D cap light from valley creek. It is almost as bright as my 5100 21v.

I hunt with a guy who owns a 28v bright eyes with a super 6 head and it is a great light. He also owns a 21v bright eyes belt and 21v box bright eyes. Both lights are great.

I also hunt with 2 other guys that own K-lights... they are also great lights.

I am friends with a guy who uses a sunspot and he loves it.
