Use SunSpot Lights, so bright its like the sun came out at night !!!
The smart lights last longer between charges than most conventional lights and as far as the battery packs holding up in water there was a post on here somewhere a while back showing the Smart light totally submerged in a bathtub full of water and still shining. Dont know how much better they could hold up to water. Once again ours is not as bright as my 21 volt Brighteyes but definately plenty bright. I have no problem finding hard to find coon. Dont yet know about summertime hunting but will find out this year.

Mike uses smaller batteries with less of a burn time that the smart light or east fork light. The larger batteries require to large of a project box. They do not have a need or the room for an L plug. As far as the brightest goes the smart light is brighter than the others. Some are close but not quite as bright. However if you by the Stanley spot light with any of them then they are all the same. The construction is better on some than others and the battery type is different. But they all use the same chargers except for the predator.

Funny thing is, when my son was about two he had a little Bob the Builder hat that was plastic with a light mounted on front of it. I think it ran off an AA battery or two. I was looking at it once and thought, If that thing was bright that would be the way to go. LOL....

IF someone would make a light like the smart light/east fork, that type light, and as bright or a little brighter than the stanley spotlight, I think it would market real well. Needs longer burn time than the spotlight though.
The spotlights are nice. But on the package, it says 10 hrs burn time, but after you open it up, it will burn 10 hrs on low, 50 min. on high. Still not bad, but every time you shut it off, it goes right back on high and you have to turn it down again. That, I dont like.
