Look for something called P1TV, that is the channel it'll be on.

All of the networks "guides" are managed by a third party and sometimes slow to update. I would make sure you've completely powered down your receiver (unplug it for a few seconds) to ensure you get a complete refresh.

ICTV, In Country Television, is on the basic subscription of both DishNetwork and DirecTV. So if you have one of those satellite networks, you should have it. If it's not showing up after a power-down, I would contact your provider.

And... sometimes the people on the other end of the phone are less that informed. I assure you it's on the basic subscription coast to coast.

Hey David and Joe! I am watching it with my daughter Kaitlin, we are loving it! Excellent job. Nice dogs Mark, Coot reminds me of an old female I had when I was kid. Boom sort of sounds a little like my Jester dog on track...not on tree though

Ok Thorn is fixing to get turned loose. I've seen him go in person plenty, real nice hound.

First time watching on Direct TV

Pretty nice show well done-- Maybe it will lead to bigger and better shows like that if we all support it I am sure they can do more--- very nicely done -- I have been involved with a show around here it's called The Heartland Series out of Knoxville Tn they came and did a coon hunt with a dog we hunted with it only lasted 3 mins but it took them nearly 6 hrs to do that 3 mins bad thing we didn't see a coon that night but they did a good job putting it together since we hunted in season and next to a creek they took a video of a coon we shot out the night before and froze and got a guy to peak it around atree @ the end of the show as if to say here I am-- that was back in the late 1980's so I know 30 mins has to be VERY time consuming --

thanks everyone for the kind comments.....

Trust me, as the show was airing last night, Dave and I were having a "business meeting" to go over the details of season II.

I will say this over and over again...if you like the show, and you want to see it continue, Dave and I are wiling to continue to do the show....but we can't do it out of our pockets. It takes SPONSORS....so please, thank the sponsors by rewarding them with your business. They have a vision that nobody else had...they took a risk that folks would watch the show.... and we all owe them a debt of gratitude....

DIRECTV

Hey Joe, you mentioned channel 344 on DirectV. I live in Southwest Ohio & have DirectV, but do not have a channel 344. My menu goes from 339 to 345. Is there another chanel this could be on in different areas of the country?

Thanks,
Vic

Vic,

It is channel 344. I would call DirectTV and ask them how to update your channel list. I think that someone suggested powering down your receiver, but I don't have direct...so i don't know how to tell you to update your channel guide.

Watched my first episode last night on Direct TV. Enjoyed it a lot and looking forward to the next episode. Got my DVR set to record every one.

For those of you searching for it and not finding it don't search "tailgate adventures"
search "F & T's tailgate adventures"

that's the mistakeI made when first looking for it.

I had to power down my receiver for about 20 seconds my unplugging it completely from the wall, then I plugged it back in, it updated and bingo, it showed in the channel list. Give it a whirl.

I powered down (unplugged) my receiver, still nothing. I then called Dirctv & spoke to a customer service rep. He had to look on their website to even see Channel 344 existed. After he found it he did say it was listed as P1TV. He also told me while looking at their website that the did not even see F&T's Tailgate Adventures listed in the time slots I mentioned to him. He did not see channel 344 even listed in any of the programming packages available for my area. He suggested I get on the Directv website & leave a message/question for this problem. As deschmidt27 mentioned, some of the folks you talk to from Directv may be less informed. Thanks to everyone for all the responses & suggestions. I'll keep digging, I am looking forward to watching the program.

As I mentioned, some are less informed and less capable. Here's a prime example... we are listed in two places on ICTV's website, including our own page. See link below:

Okay,

We have talked to the folks at ICTV and while we don't have ALL of the details, here is what we know....

On Direct TV, channel 344 wes formerly P1TV. P1TV is the parent company of ICTV and in an effort to get ICTV up and running on Direct quickly, P1TV was taken "off the air" for a period of time to enable the airing of ICTV.

This week....things are changing. P1TV will be back on the air, AS WELL AS ICTV. What we don't know right now is what channel ICTV will be airing on...or for that matter when it will start airing again.

We KNOW that it is not on the air tonight....what we don't know is if it will be back on the air by Sunday night, in time for our show to be on.

Thanks for the heads up guys (neither Dave or myself have DirectTV), please know that we are following this closely and will update everyone as we have information.
