SCRATCH my last idea!! Just got home from tonights excusion. According to my gps and odometer I walked 2 mi. by road and 1 mi. crosscountry. Shore am glad my snowshoes were safe in the garage.
See ya'll in the morning. Wayne and I will be up.

Thanks to everyone who attended event & the WASDC meeting.

It was voted to bring back the high point dog awards program in 2010. Awards will be given to the dog with the most points in four categories:

Field Trial
Bench Show
Water Race
Nite Hunt

Also awarded will be the Youth Handler of the Year.

Watch your next newsletter for details of how the program works.

Membership also voted to make cash donations to the Mackenzie Center www.mackenziecenter.com and to Kippenberg Creek Kids www.kippenbergcreekkids.com
along with donation of a hunting light to a youth through the Wisconsin Coon Hunters Association

Robbie asked everyone in attendance to fill out a postcard to which the WASDC will send to your state representative trying to stop the governor's veto regarding appointment of the DNR secretary.

Membership voted to keep the membership fees the same:
$5.00 for individual membership / $35 for club

A suggestion was made that everyone make an effort to attend an event at a club they do not normally visit. Caravan or car pool w/ other members from your local club.

Election Results

Up for election this year were President, Secretary and two Board of Director Positions.

Robbie Brooks accepted nomination for President and was re-elected.

Tim Krause accepted nomination for Secretary and was elected.

Pat Quaintance accepted nomination for Board of Director and was re-elected.

Ben Downing accepted nomination for Board of Director and was elected.

Erika was the judge, she or someone from the Marshfield club may be able to add some names w/ the winners. I took some pictures though .......

I would to thank everyone who attended the show in the snow. It was a nice turn out. Also like to thank Tammy for posting the pictures on here. And no, those are NOT my blue tick puppies that my girls are showing! My 2 daughters had a blast and are still walking around with their trophies and pretending to show their stuffed dogs!
