I just got back in and cleaned up. Made 3 trees, 2 dens and one sitting on the limb. It had been 4-5 weeks since I shot one to my pup so I let her have it.
Good cold, damp night. Coon were moving.

Treed 1 then it started raining pretty hard so i headed to the house. I have had 2 coon in 1 tree several times lately so i would say the rut is on. Had a couple real good races this week also. Since the prices are down i have been leaving alot of coon in the trees.

Went out around 8, 14 degrees here at that time. Made one den with Flash and Trip and came home. Coons are not rutting here in central Michigan yet from what I've seen the last week.

NO GOOD here in wv. hope it goes better 2nite!!!!!!!
might go tonight and try to get one treed
From hunting with several young dogs I have noticed that a cold, wet, bad night is the quickest way to turn a young dog down hill really fast. Maybe start doing things you had never seen them do before

Well there's two ways of looking at that. I myself like to get a dog solid then throw some bad nights in there to see how they react, then there's other people that look at it the way you do.
treed 2 singles last night depands if rainy to night not going.
