Chris, I think Clint's 14 years old so you better hurry. How Is your female bred?? she sure Is a fine looking hound.

Yea I know he is old but hoped that maybe when I do breed her again they might have collected some semen off of Clint. My female is directly out of Xjr and a female by the name of silver dollar dixie. I have a 3 pups out of her right now other wise I would consider breeding her sooner.

Joe,I don't doubt you one bit, I've heard alot of talk about Thorn, from people that said they hunted with him, every thing was good. darned good looking dog, He's just a few miles from me.

I just bought a 2yr. old male out of Fightin' Side who is directly out of Clint. He is a 55lb. black headed, blanketback hound. He is out of a Buck Creek female. Runs with a loud bawl and loud chop on the tree. Only been in one hunt! I plan on campaigning him this spring. If I can get my next door neighbor to come over may post a pic. Good luck with your Clint hounds!!!

Hey Whistle Pig,
I think you are referring to Gr Nite Ch Slim that Jim McConnell has. He is a littermte to Thorn. Thorn is in Indiana. Both of them are coondogs though.

Sorry for the confusion. As Ben said, they are both out of Clint. Chris asked how Thorn was bred on the bottom side.

I don't know anything about Slim....matter of fact, I never mentioned Slim. Someone else did. I believe they are saying that Slim and Thorn are littermate brothers?
