Thanks, try be accurate as possible. I would love to see a comparison of the same feed on dogs outside rather than in. Post dog weights too- somebody above had a 80+ pound average! compared to my 43 pound average.

I know of someone that is feeding Hi-Standard dog food and their Mastiff weighs 150LBS and only get 3 cups a day and that dog looks great. They used to give it 6-8 cups a day on other dogs food they tried.

So I filled the bowl tonight to use up the last of the food. It will last through tomorrow, making it 22 days. This works out to $1.09 per day for three dogs, or $.36 per dog per day. During this time the dogs hunted about 6 nights- I went out only three times due to cold conditions, but hunted two dogs each night.

Note- Dave started his bag on Dec 22.

Finished bag #2 tonight. That makes 25 days on this bag. I am feeding a little more weight of dog this month as I have had Tucker [50 pounds] compared to Recharge [35?]. I hunted a little bit more over the last 25 days than the previous 22. I think the 14 year old dog eats a little less than the lighter younger dog. Not gonna do the math tonight, but must be closer to 1.05?per day?

Believe it or not, as much as everyone likes to talk dog food, it seems no one is else is willing to properly measure and time dog food use. Kind of sad. Put your money where your mouth is folks!

I fed Hi Standard all winter. I gave my female dogs one 13oz. coffee can per day. They all weighed between 49-53 pounds and were kept outside and hunted.
