Kind of like breaking them off Coon. LOL

I haven't ruined a single one. That's the honest truth, they get the point really fast that if there not there first to ignore the treed dog. I can lead my dog to youre dogs tree and tie them up and they woln't pay it any attention whatsoever. It takes time but most importantley it takes me hunting them by themselves each and every cut I make when pleasure hunt. If a dog is always being turned loose with soemthing else trust me it will turn into a pack dog. if you like dogs to run around treeing with eachother all night then more power to you but I will not have a dog like that. There's nothing whatsoever to be rpoud of with saying well go ahead and tree my dog there too for "75" Any dog can tree with another dog but only a few are nearly guaranteed that 125 every time and that's the type of dog Iwant. In thin coon I cn see where a die hard independent dog might be a bad thing but im in thick coon so I wouldn't know. You can bet if you buy a dog from me it will tree coon and be by itself everytime or I wouldn't have owned it.

Richard may Iask what breed of dogs you hunt?

Treberta,
I have used the a similar method to break hounds off possom, but having a hound that wont honor on possom, and using that dog to break the possom treeing dog. If you have a Sure Nuff Coondog, that wont tree a Possom, If the hound your breaking makes one of those quick trees, and the old Coon dog wont honor, I take it for a Possom, and shock the Trainee dog off the tree.

Oh I forgot, I hunt Treeing Walker Hounds.
Tried everything else, and decided I like the Walker Best of all.
