First of all - Awe inspiring pup!!

Thanks for the info... always good to learn something new.

I did some research on St Hubert a while ago but, never knew some of the hounds were white! He must have been quite a person - he is, as you know - the Patron Saint of huntsmen.

Also, can you provide further info as to conformation on the dogs you saw? Are they more angulated in back and if so, do they have more layback in the shoulder (for faster takeoff and quicker turns). It may be my imagination, but it seems in the pics that the current hounds may have picked up some of the more "hot blooded" physical characteristics? Their faces are wonderful - I'm a sucker of dark eyes and finer noses.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm very much looking forward to seeing more from what seems a wonderful, relatively untapped genepool. Please, keep us up to date.

Michelle I'l think on that !! They are a Hunting Hound and I sure wich UKC had some More Options for the Rare Hunting Hound Breeds than just "Show Pieces" .. She Should do well in the Big Game Field Trials !

Your Thinking of another Litter !! Tim Hubell "Liontracker" Made two litters one Pure GGS , and One crossed litter of Big Game Hound (Not of a Walker Strain)

I've been following the G S dogs with a lot of interest ever since they were imported. I hope you guys do work to increase their numbers in the U.S. That being said I wouldn't mind having one crossed with a Cameron. Keep us posted how they turn out, I'm curious.

I took this one last night and it shows the Unique Sculpting and a Very long Mussel !!!!!

She's quite Fast for 5 months old but thats a 6 month old Majestic Pup Chasing her ... But in Quick Movement and about Stride for Stride the both have very sim. lines.

Photo Of Reese's Grand Parents and a few Aunts & Uncles that are located in South Africa .. With the Exception of Gavins Doggo on the far Left, the Doggo was raised with the young GGS.

She'l be 13 months old by then and Built a bit better !! She still needs to Fill in a bit more.. She's running around 2 miles a day and is Toning Up now But She should really look good after her first Cycle ..

I'll say one thing...I've got 2 littermates to Steves GGS and man oh man are they firing well. They are athletic, smart and more scent driven than any hounds I've ever seen. My hounds are running close to 30 miles a week and they are in tip top shape. I've taken them in some extremely rough country with no foot problems at all. They get along great with my mule too!

i expect GREAT things from them this fall when they see their first lion. They are already smoking lion trails I lay and they have started a few real lion tracks in the dirt so far. Seriously, I'm impressed....Steve, we did good getting a hold of these

One other thing These French Hounds are Only Avb. From Tim Hubble in Co. and Litters are sold out well in advance ... Tim was the Importer of them and the Org. Stock came from Gavin "The African" as shown with his Pack Above with the Leopard !!
