Or is it the fact that some people just love to ride a horse to death, how many on here actually have law degrees, because alot of you like to pick every little nook and cranny of a fairly basic concept or rule to find that one little spot of maybe it means this or it could mean this?

Have you ever noticed how people are much more inclined to discuss or debate and learn somthing about an issue if its presented to them in question form rather than just force your opinion of the correct answer on them? oops, there i go again with a simple question.

Im assuming you are reffering to the question i asked about 2 dogs being struck when only one barked.
The reason i asked it is that it happens frequently and not always but most times its because 2 dogs sound similar and neither handler has ever heard the other dog.
In most cases the judge merely writes down 100 for the guy that called first and 75 for the other, which ussualy triggers a question from someone on the cast about 2 dogs being struck and only 1 barked followed by a brief arguement which ends with the judge saying he dont know the dogs but by the next drop he will. End of discussion and 2 or 3 guys get the shaft on that turnout.
Not a big deal to some perhaps, but if your hunting an area where only one coon being scored is the norm, its a huge deal.

Maybe by discussing it on here and getting Allens input, we can all learn what the best way is to handle this and other tough situations in the future. I dont have the luxery of being able to afford an" advisor".

I really didn't have one post in mind. I thought it funny how some people flock to certain posts or threads simply based on who writes them. I do however think that most of the questions posted on here are fairly common and most who have hunted in the comp hunts should know the real answer. I do find it rather funny that alot of people have some really weird ways of looking at the rules. I really enjoy reading what people write on here. I am by no means an expert and have been proven wrong. The whole reason behind this thread was to find out if people are actually that confused or if they just like to try and answer certain peoples questions. In my opinion if Jim, HOBO, or Elvis asks a question everyone wants to answer it. I think it is because you guys are the "popular ones". LOL Seriously I do find alot of answers to questions in the threads ya'll start. Maybe not the exact question that is asked but something similar.

I think you should look at the fast pace of this thread as a compliment. In less than one day it was at two pages and this person wrote .... to think I almost skipped this post.............................. I didn't mean anything bad by this thread just tried to prove a point. If I would have put Bob did it or Fred did it or John did it, I bet there would have only been maybe one or two posts and they would have been wondering who these people are. By putting Elvis did it, most have heard of you and know your acomplishments and want to see what Elvis did. I hope you see my point. Again I didn't mean anything by this just kinda wanted to run a little experiment. Next time I will use Jim or HOBO as my lab rats.

Might not be that hard to get something out of the advisor but it is hard to get some people to understand what everybody has already said. Jim does a good job explaining things.

Well Said. Agreed. Jim is straight to the point, you know where he is coming from. Which is a very good thing, you tend to respect a person like that. At least I do.

I actually graduated a semester early because I took so many classes when I started. I decided to get out early and start working so I could get married and start working. I've been lucky, still have the same wife and same job that I got when I graduated three years ago. I'd go back in a minute if someone else paid for it this time. lol.

To Elvis' point, I never really thought about approaching someone by asking them a simple question, but then again I'm still considered a punk kid to most people. And to think I actually might have learned something from this here internet machine.
