hopefully the law punishes you to the full extent mr doitright, i dont believe for a second that you were afraid for your safety or your familys you made a judgement that you have to live with and hopefully the courts make it harder for you to forget.

Well we all know he is a lying sack of ****. We should hold a protest in front of his house every night until he either moves or does something else stupid. He will get his one way or another. Karma's a bitch!!

Mr. Hall, you mentioned how you "take care of the 82 year old lady that owns it. She loves my dad like a son and I am there all the time making sure her propane has gas, her water running, uncloggin her camode."

I think I know that lady. Betty G? I've been over there myself with my chain saw and cut away brush from her house and buildings. I've picked up packages for her. My son cleans her gutters. My wife bought and replaced her mailbox when it was damaged (yes, we bought a new one at our own expense). When she said there was no gas in her car, my wife drove her old red car through a snow storm with no wipers to get her fuel and some groceries. Last week when she called our house she asked if I knew where "Al" was. I told her I didn't, not knowing even WHO "Al" was. Now I maybe see that is your father?

However, I'm not a hunter. Never hunted in my life. So I don't "benefit" from the use of her land. She's just a neighbor, and people watch out for each other. The ironic thing about this is that I am also the man whose dog was attacked by your animals that night. And yes, I am the person who was forced to shoot your dog.

Does anyone here in their right mind really think I had anything against your dog? When - in full darkness - you see your family pet being attacked, your little girl crying, dogs with flashing collars running all over your porch and driveway, and knowing your wife could be coming home in just minutes into that same driveway, what would you do? I feared not just for my own safety, but for hers.

It's real macho to talk about burning my house down or tying me to a tree. Really impressive. But what would you have done?

I'm not against you, Mr. Hall. I don't care if you hunt raccoons. I DO care about my family and my home. I wish this had never happened, and I wish I had not had to be outside alone with those dogs. I wasn't looking for trouble, but it came to me. In my own home, on my own property. And sir, I am genuinely sorry for your loss.

Mr. Faubion according to the WTHR news story, you claim that 3 dogs attacked your Golden Retriever mix..........3 dogs attacking 1 dog would leave some damage or signs of being attacked by 3 dogs. Do you have a vet report of the wounds the 3 dogs that attacked your dog inflicted? Did you even take your dog to the vet?

Faubion says he never saw a raccoon, but did see three dogs attacking his Golden Retriever mix.

"Had taken him down to the ground," says Faubion.

I can't believe you shoot someone's coondogs, then have the nerve and audacity to come to a coon hunting forum, not only becoming a member but posting like you are one of us -- AKA the Skunk thread.

I was raised in Hendricks county, went to school there and know the area well. I watched the news cast and only have the media to judge what happened(reside in Tn). This is what I know, 99.9999 percent of coonhounds are not aggressive toward man or another dog. They are one of the most suited companions for man, wether hunted or pet. As an outsider looking in and knowing a little about dogs I say Mr. Halls hound did not come onto Mr. Faubions property attacking his Golden Retriever or Mr. Faubion himself. Maybe sniffing, or checking his dog like dogs do or possibly Mr, Faubions dog was being aggressive toward the hounds, possibly gaurding his home(like dogs do). Im only speculating but I think Mr. Faubion used poor judgement and made a big mistake, killing an innocent coonhound.
I stand behind Halls procecution.
