Hey Wade...I have a question about that deer. Was he a wild fawn that has been raised in captivity or was he bought from someone that ranch raises deer?

he was bought from a guy that raises all sorts of animals, my mom has a bobcat from him, and my sister had a skunk and a mountain lion from him(skunk and mountain lion died)

the deers daddy was a impressive 8 pointer

rough score , i say rough because he is in velvet, and he doesn't stay still very well. 152

and age well lets say he was a 3 pointer at 1 1/2 and a 5 pointer at 2 1/2.

he was a 7 pointer at 3 1/2 and a 8 pointer at 4 1/2 and 9 pointer at 5 1/2 and at 6 1/2 made 10 points and at 7 1/2 years old 10 points again.

he is a short for height and length as a deer goes in my eyes, i figured the body would throw most for a loop on age, if you look at his front chest would of gave his age better, i do have to admitt i would of guessed him at 4 1/2 if it was a buck i seen out scouting, but i think that is becasue i usually don't see them over that age, most bucks in our state die before 3 1/2 for sure. just curious how many 4 1/2 year old deer have people seen in there lives, i can honestly say i have seen maybe 3 bucks i felt were at least 5, and thats because the supported 250 + pound body frame. but heck could of been a fat 3 1/2. i would think deer are like people in that was different body types and such.

so main frame 10
7 1/2 years old
score 145 to 155

intersting 4 years of his life he spent a uneven rack and 3 with a even number, his last 2 years at 6 and 7 he is what i call a shooter.
