We had to click on a link to find the name of the "Jeep" Beagle. Since we tend to prefer a heavier-boned dog, which we can visualize running through thicket in an English countryside, the "Jeep" hound is more our style. Not saying anything about the hunting ability of any of the great hounds which had photos submitted. This was purely our humble opinion regarding how we comprehend the standard of conformation, without seeing movement or having our hands on the actual dogs. Over the years, we've been pretty good about choosing dogs via photos. (About forty or fifty conformation champions, to date). Our boy, Hoss, who did a little bit of winning at the UKC Premier, is a good little hunter. We don't run him in a pack, per say, but he "unofficially" passed the test at a Bassett Hound trial. We like to know our show dogs have the "capability", even if we don't personally hunt them. We simply don't have time, unfortunately, but we sure do enjoy hearing all about the hunts and trials.

yes we have a gyp bred and we just bred his dad to a nice gyp also his dad is up for stud as well as major but would refer you to breed to buzz thats where it all starts call me or marc 606 393 5591 marc murray 740 502 0752

Hi Jeremy, Chief's Dad is Lindsey Fire Brawl (AKA Rock) Rock's, dad which is Chief Granddad is Hall a fame dog Sagamon Ridge Benard. On the Dam side Chief's mother is Cherry Hill Hooker. Benard and Rock where big in Arha. Chief has only been bred 5 or 6 times, because I only breed for myself. I have 4 dogs here out of him, and I will probably breed him again next year. Hope this helps, will be happy to answer any questions. Chief is definitely a once in a lifetime dog. The funny thing is Benard was once in a lifetime dog for late Jim Hughs. Thanks for asking.
