Try using Rockingham, Ledbetter Rd. The county it is in is Richmond County, but I believe the closest city is Rockingham.

Cleo,
use this as the address:
Ledbetter Rd & American Legion Rd
Rockingham, NC 28379

the entrance to the club is directly across from the American Legion rd.

if you can get to US 1 in Rockingham, go North, thru the construction and you will come to a stop light at Wiregrass Rd. there is a Citgo gas station on the right, you will turn left.
follow that road (bear left when rd splits), cross the lake, club sign on left, signs will be posted at US 1 day of event.

if you get lost, call me 910-461-1314

in reference to the bench show, I will be the judge. if we have an overall, it will be a panel. we have not discussed an overall yet.

Sounds like it is gonna be a really well put together event...I hope you have a great turn out...I think we are gonna stay closer to home on that weekend, I sure hate we will miss it...Sam is really looking forward to us making a trip over that direction "together" the next time...

Any super duper prizes? Granted, a state water race title is good enough for me, but I'm curious about the prizes. I've heard in the past, you've given away some good ones!

I currently do not know what we have gotten. we have a meeting on thursday. not sure about the super duper ones yet.

I do have 2 special plaques for the water race winners.
looking into getting a bench for the show winner
and maybe some embroidered hats for winners and some for either sale or raffle prizes.

Im sure we'll have the box or money raffle as well. last year the winner took $300.

I will be trying to get someone from the local paper to cover the event as well.

**if anyone would like to donate items to the raffle, please let us know**

If you need the actual address for Richmond County Cooners Club it is 647 Ledbetter Rd. Kinda my job to know since I work for 911 in county...Dont know if this will help on gps..
