Where I live people are very gracious about granting permission. The parcels are mostly 100-600 acres but often one access leads to another. IT is a very easy place to get permission and the land is small enough that you can drive around and find dogs if they get too far out of pocket. Coon are thick here and most people don't mind at all of you hunt.

I think it would be rare that someone would have enough ground that they hunt their own place exlusively expecially in the Eastern part of the US.
