pup

mark had a long day,was still doing chores when you called, it does't help that we got 13 inches of snow on friday morning, put a halt to my hunting for awhile, it would be better if i waited for the next litter. i will send you a booking , if you like, give me another call. thanks jim

Hey Mark,
Had a better day today. Got 2nd and 4th in the All Age and 2nd and 4th in the derby. Dogs all did good.
Glad to hear Miss Sadie is getting better. Bob forgot to tell me you called the other day.
Leaving Nashville tomorrow and heading to Missouri. Hope the weather cooperates! We have a pretty good drive and sounds like they have a ton of snow over that way. It rained here most of the time.
Chris

Congrats John Horner and Terry Cochran on your wins in Oraville it's a good thing I had them hunted up a little.
Sounds like the dogs took care of the handlers by treeing coons the right way making their job easier. LOL

Hey Mark,
Son did a great job the other night. Sorry we had to go so far to put the coon up a tree! Good thing we had reinforcement at the truck! It could have been a long walk back after the 1st tree! Tell Larry thanks! I finally got done with loading up around 2AM and had to get up at 6AM to leave for the trial and run dogs at Noon until 5PM. It was a long day!
Hope you have some luck tonight with Son at Troy!
Talk to you soon to hear how it went!
Chris

I got the DNR information for you. I am going to call the local DNR officer today a little later so I don't wake him up on his day off. Wouldn't be a good way to start our relationship! Ha! Ha!
Give me and Layne a shout and we will go run em tonight.

I got the information from the DNR guy and I will get with you tonight when we go turn em loose.
There is a post on here about the 5 point hunt that may be helpful to answer the questions from last night.

I will be at the meeting and will hunt some this week. Good Luck tonight at Rushville. Layne had to go to The quad cities with his dad this AM so I will be home getting ready for the trial at Hillsboro tomorrow. It's just a little walking trial but we are going to support our club and maybe get some dogs qualified or finished. Leaving most of the big guns at home.
Talk to you soon,
Chris

PS. to go along with the above message!

Mark,
Fred was mad at me last night. I went to put pans down before I fed and he went into his barrel as soon as I came up next to his door and talked to him. He came out when I was feeding though. Hopefully he doesn't pay me back.
