For those who have the rebel have. You noticed the poor quality In low light conditions . Even i Manual mode. I got one for Christmas and really like it but could be better I these condidtions. Also since season went out I. Bought a low pro bag and been takeing it back packing. Any one who like outdoors and dslr camras needs to look inthese bags. Makes things alot easier. Jmo

kyle, I am the one with the canon rebel xsi. I also am looking to purchase another kodak easy share for a point and shoot, take in the woods type hunting camera. I can tell you this, you can get a wide range of easy share camera's for under $200.00. It's just a matter of personal preference on which one you would want to purchase. As far as mega-pixels go, a good rule of thumb would be to remember that the larger the mega-pixel, the clearer the photo if you blow one up. So the larger the mega-pixel the better. However if you dont think that you will want to blow any pics up any larger than wallet size, then it wont really matter. Good luck with your search! Now as far as my rebel taking poor pics in low light, I have to disagree! The flash on this camera is kinda like looking into a cajun spot! lol not that bright but you get the idea! My rebel has taken great pics under low light. Now if you stand too far away from your target pic, then things can go south quick!
