I just saw your post. I would look on amazon 2-3x's daily (it may take a week or two to find it at a cheaper price). The price changes as more online stores offer the unit. I believe they do this basically to compete with another. Antonline is where I got my DC-30. Amazon had the combo at the time, but saw it for same price from Antonline.

The reason I got it at wholesale price is because I work for an avitaion company that builds flight simulators and we deal with garmin daily so all of us employees get all garmin products at wholesale price. Thats why I got the Astro DC-30 with 2 collars for 575. I only paid 2 dollars shipping. It was nice.
