Dont know about accuracy but I know one breed is MEANER than all the others combined.. You know its bad when they make up their own world hunt and dont have a winner because of fighting but I'm not calling any names!!!!!!! LOL...........

i really don't think you gotta sacrifice accuracy for speed but from what I've seen a dog that will gamble some for first tree is hard to beat.

thats a sales pitch,then you call and they say he aint been hunted in a few months,that way when the dog misses a bunch the seller thinks your gonna believe the dog will be accurate after a few hard nights of huntin!!

One thing is forsure..It was not the plotts that had their own world hunt and no winner because of mean dogs!! Still not mentioning any names but it was the same ones that had an ALL ONE COLOR RQE last year

since i switched from walkers to redbones years ago i have seen alot more coon hands down not that there are not good ones i have owned some but i see lots more coon with old red on the leash hunted all december one slick tree out of pry 30 trees that good odds to me .

i have to agree with whoever it was that said that there are good and bad in each breed. one of the best dogs i ever hunted with was a bluedog that my friend owned. when thunder treed you knew you had a coon. we had nights when we didn't walk much to get a bunch of coons and then nights when we went all night to get a few. depended on the night and the circumstances. but thunder would get a coon in deep snow, cold nights , summer nights, hot or cold trails. but to be fair mark also had a little walker female that was a good dog.
i have a blue dog but he picked me out. i originally started with english and i like them also. i've also hunted a few red dogs that were fairly good. i'm not colorblind. i like a hound that tracks and trees.
by the way why is it that any thread turns into a bluedog bashing thread? ever hear the song by twisted sister 'we're not going to take it'? thats my answer to the bashers.
