Hunt Test

I wish I could Eddie but I am still in St. Louis working. Wont be home till the 10th of February.

good deal....for the rest of yall, Eddie has some of the best looking blue dogs you ever did see...leggy, big heads, BIG mouths not the little petite whippet lookign dogs, but big houndy well put together dogs with mouths to match....eddie, you need to get a few pics of your pop a top dog on here....he redefines the definition of stout, lol....

Hunted hounds all my life, but am pretty new to comp hunts etc. What is a hunt test and what is it for. Thanks Guy

the hunt test is not a competition against any other dog, just you, your dog, and a judge. You have one hour to hunt, your dog must go huntin, strike trail and tree, showing you at least one coon in the hours hunt without making more than two mistakes, and do this three nights in a row...

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE LOOKS OF HIS HOUNDS. VERY HOUNDY LOOKING BLUE DOGS. I LIKED THOSE ALL BLUES HE HAS !!

matt, sam, thanks for the complements. i'm pretty proud of what i have now. took awhile to get what i wanted. i hope everyone that has dogs ends up with what they want, that would be great. matt, you take care of that sassy gyp, she is special to me and the whole north east. i hope she has a nice litter.

she has already got me hooked, I went to my parents, and hauled her in the back, with a chain I had hooked just behind the toolbox...she loved it, boy she was sure checking the wind ....she is a sweetheart..

thanks, still a long road to go. maybe now i can finish him in the field trials, water race, bench show, and nite hunt. don't lack much to be finished, but it can sometimes take awhile.

I SHOWED A CH.MALE REDBONE GOT A WIN ON HIM,HE HAS SINCE FINISHED TO GR.CH.,WON BEST OF SHOW WITH A REDBONE FEMALE AND FINISHED HER TO CH.,HUNTED CH.HICKS RUSTY A REDBONE THAT HAD 2 FIRST PLACE WINS WHEN I HUNTED AT YOUR LAST HUNT,BUT HE WASN'T CLICKING THAT NIGHT AND WE DIDN'T DO ANY GOOD.I LATER WON A 2ND ON HIM AT BEGGS AND FINISHED HIM TO NITECH. I WILL BRING A COUPLE OF RED DOGS TO SHOW AND HUNT A RED DOG THAT NIGHT.BUT I AM GOING TO COME EARLY AND WATCH THE WATER RACE AND FEILD TRIAL,BECAUSE I HAVEN'T SEEN ONE SINCE I WAS KID.
