no it didn't hurt him to bad, the bear hit him in his ribs and left a big welt the size of a big bear paw.and he got hit in the mouth and broke off a part of his tooth. that's the second bear he has treed in about 2 month's. thank's for asking hobo

I've never had one bother a bear that I know of. My dad had one of his curs get hit in the top of the head once.

WE HAVE WAY TO MANY BEAR'S IN THIS AREA OF PA. THE NIGHT HE GOT HIT WAS THE LAST NIGHT OF ARE BEAR SEASON. I GUESS SOMEBODY WOUNDED A BEAR IN THAT AREA AND HANK JUMPED ON IT.HANK TREED ONE A COUPLE OF MONTH AGO. THE BEAR CAME DOWN THE TREE ABOUT 15 YARD'S IN FRONT OF ME. AND OLD HANK WAS CHEWING ON THE BEAR'S REAREND UNTILL THE BEAR WENT UP. MY SHOCK COLLAR IS BROKE FOR KNOW IF IT WAS FIXED HE WOULD BE BROKE OFF THEM.
WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF COON IN THIS AREA SO HE'S GETTING BORED. I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY THAT WOULD RUN HIM A COUPLE OF WEEK'S OR MONTH.
