DirtDevil...Mike's # is 812-472-3563. By all means call him and ask him. He is not shy and will gladly answer any question you may have about any hound he has ever owned. If Mike tried to pull a switch-a-roo I agree he should be hog tied and pistol whipped and I will personally throw the first punch. I however, doubt it. Like Monte said I'm not the mans keeper but the best person to ask is Mike himself.

Why spend money on a phone call when you could just tell us ? Hobo mentioned an honest mistake .... if so just spit it out.

yall are the biggest chickens I ever saw ....PR went to Darrell's and gave him $500 for two Thunder pups ...that was months and months ago ...still no papers and no calls ....if Mike aint honest enough to let buyers know what's going on then he can keep the papers and yall can deal with the taint that your behaviour will leave you with. All your doing is making the whole thing look crooked instead of the honest mistake you claim it is.

So they tested some Tom Horn semen and know for sure Thunder is out of him and not Boone ...was that so hard ? It would have been nice for everyone who had Thunder pups to have gotten a phone call about this ...

Dirt I wrote out this whole long story just to ease you mind took me about 20 minutes to type it out. After I went back and read it, I decided to just erase the whole thing cause you ain't worth it. I will ask Mike about your friend PR papers next time I speak with him which should be in few days. I will also tell him you were asking about him and will he give you a call. If you please pm me with your # I will personally see to it that he gets it. I'm sure he will be glad to answer any and all questions you may have about himself or any hound he has owned best of his ability.

If you are'nt chickenshit call him yourself. Mike is a big boy and yours won't be the first he has recived nor will you be the first to ask him about what happened .Or is that answer to your question to easy?

The damage is done , yall should have bumped this to the top and let people know what the deal was ..yall don't mind doing that on the Boone thread when you get a chance to brag ... they should have to show DNA for Thunder's mother before they even change his papers ....who's to say Thunder wasn't from an entirely different litter with a different mother ...I've seen several different litters of pups every time I've been to Darrells' or Dan Hoffmans' houses ...it wouldn't be hard for a pup to get switched by accident .

i would just as soon have one off horn anyway. as for mike i have only met him a couple of times and as long as hes been doing this hes due a mistake or 2. i dont think he would ever do this intentionally.

Of course it's not intentional , but I think the chances of a pup from a different litter getting mixed up with the Boone litter that Thunder is papered from is about as likely as Mike breeding or accidentaly breeding Boone/Tom Horn to the same female ..in which case now there is probably no way ? to prove who Thunders' mother is .

Dirt I first want you to know that I enjoy reading your post on here and I think we've even talked a few times. I always took you as smarter than that. You are very correct. Who is to say that boone is who they say he is? Who is to say that Pac Man was out of who they say. Who is to say Lipper is out of who they say. I agree with John Wick lots of papers get mixed up whether by accident or by deliberate lying. Until the registeries can get us a dna profile done at an affordable price it will keep happening. DNA should be mandentory to register a dog with ukc PERIOD as long as it will be affordable to do it to each litter.

Skinner , for guys like Mike who sell alot of pups the DNA tests are affordable to do on their studs and brood bitches. It's a $150 investment that will keep paying for years to come . Considering the money Thunder has made in breeding fees/pups I don't think it is out of line to expect Mike to run an ad and straighten this thing out ...and if Thunders papers get pulled then he could still volunteer to try to do something for those with Thunder pups.

Coming clean will only make all Booners look better .....hiding it just looks bad .

I meant ..for ...people with Thunder pups ...if the papers are pulled . I don't see how Thunder could keep his papers unless they can prove who his mother is also .

I agree with Blister. Mike should be given the time and opportunity to adress this issue and I think he will. I also think that if someone is personally effected by this situation then speaking to the parties involved on a personal basis would be the best way to find resolution
