I love to deer hunt our season came in on Oct 18 in one county i hunt. We run dogs year around. Its more exciting to hear the dogs coming and all of a sudden you see the deer and you get a shot. Id rather shot one doe running dogs than 10 standing in the corn pile. Its almost a guarentee when you pull the trigger your gona have the deer. Like I said I enjoy deer hunting running dogs but I hate to sit in a stand. All these big time still hunters must be crazy there aint nothing like a pack of rabbit dogs or a couple good coon dogs. JMO
