My dogs have treed more than a few coons in minute. I expect most of us have or have had a dog that could do that. I've seen plenty treed 30 seconds off the snap. But to do that 10 times in a row? 11 trees in 36 minutes under UKC Nite Honor Rules? Don't make me laugh.
I do know one way walk dogs and cast to buckets if they open or signs they are there you cut them if not walk to the next one.But

im not saying my dog does it every time but if 4 or 3 dogs do it every turn out ( saying they are in alot of coons and getting split) it is possible. No matter what anyone on here says it can be done plain and simple.

places at home have feeder buckets that have had the same bunch of coons on them for years and haven't ever been killed and they all look. . . . . if a coon gets treed all the time and not killed they start getting used to it and looking more regularly

are you saying you did this or are you saying that it is possible? it is possible but you would have a better chance of winning 3 lotteries in a row. I have treed a coon in about 30 to 45 seconds from turnout. the next tree was about 45 minutes later. I know a fellow that starts pups on feeders. he has not shot a coon out on his feeders in probably 30 years, but for some reason they just refuse to look. you will usually find the bodies before the eyes.
im sauying i treed one in that fast not 10 but 10 is possible

I cant make 11 trees in 36 hours where I am LMAO!!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!!!
I am by no means a comp hunter and we are over populated up here with coons to the point that the MNR have doing cull for any farmer with crop damage and I can show you coon in alot of trees at one time but there is no way I could pull my dogs off one tree and then have them tree again and agian for 10 trees in 35 min. JMO
We have had nights when the leaves are off that we treed well over 35 coon in one corn field off a big swamp and I could not of got the dogs on all the trees in that short of time. I am not saying it was not done just that man you would have to have everything go perfect for every tree and some well mannered dogs to pull it off.

Can't happen round here, someone on the cast always wants to take the whole 10min to shine.

Under UKC Rules, 11 trees in 36 minutes is IMPOSSIBLE down here in Central Texas. We couldn't tie 11 coons in the trees and get them treed in 36 minutes.
Under UKC rules, time just will not allow this to happen. Even if, as I understand it, there was only two dogs left in the cast, 11 coons: 3 minutes per coon is just not right. Mabe one or two coons could be scored in 3 minutes, but not all 11 averaging 3 minutes per coon. Can't get two dogs to hunt like that.
JMO, publicly expressed.........

i took a good long look at that card last night. having been on several cast that have gone over 1000+ plus points legitimately, it is amazing how you can suddenly put 600 points on the card in the blink of an eye. when i drew out with jet 8 two years ago when he was really clicking, he put up something like 1575 on a night that didnt even seem that good of hunting. i figured he had a score of about 800-900, til we did the math and had to rethink the whole hunt to make sure we hadnt written a drop down twice or something like that.
so after looking that card over in last months cb and trying to imagine exactly how the hunt went based on strike and tree positions, i have come to the conclusion that it absolutely could be a legit card. the cast would have had to have hunted along tree lines where shining was quick and easy. there was a drop where i believe three dogs were split and all plussed 125.if they got treed nearly simultaneously, near each other, they would not have had to wait the five on any of those trees. if the coon are there, shining goes a lot quicker. the part that i find hard to believe is that there are 3 circle trees and one minus scored during the hunt- rarely do people not use almost the full ten to shine a circle tree, and even more rare that a tree can be scored quickly if it is minused. in a normal hunt those four trees would have burned up probably 30-40 minutes alone.
on the first drop alone because dog b was out trailing the entire time [strike deleted] the three trees scored would have required waiting the five, considering that two of the trees were circled, which would usually require at least five minutes of shine time. three times five[waiting] plus three times five[shining circle trees] put you at thirty used on the first drop. on the 2nd and third drops they scored six more trees, and after that dog b withdraws and signs off on 29 minutes used.
from the point that dog b withdraws everything is possible timewise. when dog b withdrew, there would have been 4 people present when the card was signed. do we really think that four people together would falsify a scorecard together? a few of these guys are kinda bigtime. would they really risk there future in UKC to help out one dog? maybe, but i kinda doubt it.
this card really tells us the importance of signing the left hand column, filling in times and scores before leaving a cast. i would say the only possibility of fraud on this cast is if it wasnt , and was filled in later falsely. note that the original judge was the owner of dog b. there is no way that a judge leaving a cast would not know the time or scores properly when leaving, and fill it out properly.
all that aside, i would love to hear a play by play of the first few drops from someone on the cast. BUT IN THE MEANTIME, I THINK WE SHOULD LAY OFF THESE GUYS. THERE WERE 790 DOGS ENTERED IN THIS HUNT. THAT MEANS ABOUT 200 CASTS OF DOGS. THE ODDS OF ONE DOG AND ONE CAST HAVING EVERYTHING GO RIGHT FOR TWO HOURS OF HUNTING TIME IS EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH. from a minnesotans point of view, we dont 790 dogs entered in all of our night hunts in an entire year. we dont have the coon population that ohio, indiana have, and yet inevitably every year someone comes in with a 1000 point night. if 1000 can be done here, 1750 can be done there.
just my two cents worth.

i know i hunted up here in minn with ben and a few others pleasure hunting and we treed at least 9 coon in 1 corn field in under and hour ive also hunted with ben in the nite hunts that the score came in well over 1000 and it was awsome nite of hunting if u get in thick coon with a good dog its easy to put up a high score
I believe a dog by ITS SELF can score that!!! Thats where the whole problem comes in..Why are most major hunt winners hunted alone the bulk of the hunt??? Seems strange to me!!!!!! All these hunts need to go to a 4 dog hunt off...Dont matter if its a reg dog.You take your top 4 scores and hunt them off.......
Can I get in on this?????????

no weasling out either.... u say cut dog, tree, leash, score & back in 3......... how about tree, score back in 3 all 3 nights for 1000 each?????
how can u call cut a liar? I know he's full of crap half the time, but he said they treed 1 coon and back in 3.... I will grant u that is almost impossible & will happen once in a long while (around here) hunting in the wild...... coon r thin here...... but for our little adventure I'll have some feeders out & we will be hunting real close to them, so be careful when u get out of the truck, don't want to knock over my feeder....... No Checks or Credit Cards & absolutely no credit, CASH ONLY....... bring ur money
more than once, I have had dogs tree close enough to the truck that I've found the coon from the truck.....
i have even had a dog tree from the tailgate, yes tailgate!!!!! I was tryin to get the magnet out of the tracking collar & my dog kept trying to get loose & tree barking for all she was worth..... I turned around to see waht she was barking at and there sat a coon about 10 or 12 feet up a tree & I could almost touch the tree from where I was standing.... I will admit that is the one and only time Iv'e had that happen, but it did........
now if you want to call me a liar go right ahead, but be prepared bacause after I take ur money, I'm gonna whip ur a$$ (unless I loose, then I be to humiliated to care)......
