Majestic Tree H You have a huge point. Since a neutered dog can still be part of the gene pool! It makes for a interesting thing to think about, at least as far as the males go. Maybe you could put a male on the bench that you can prove has been collected and that there is a remaining collection and was altered for medical reasons only.

But on the other hand a neutered dog does take on a different appearance as wayne f mentioned so it seems you would have to have a whole different class.

However life has a lot of hard knocks and this just seems to be one of them that you'd be disqualified in one event. If something happens medically then at least it is better than the dog being dead and you can still enjoy putting your hound in the woods, which to me is why I hunt anyway, for the love of running my hounds!

a couple pluses to hunting a neutered dog would be males may not be as interested in peeing on all the bushes the other male dogs peed on, and youd never have to worry about missing a hunt because your female was in heat
