Some folks use the programs to sell pups , while others use pictures of caged critters in their back yards to sell pups.
What's the difference?

ok anyone that wants to breed to my pp stud can pay me $500 if they like. more if they so wish. but if you can't afford that just let me know and give what you can. even breed for a pup off that good female. i'm breeding for my personal use and sell the extra pups or give to a kid. i sure can't feed them all. sometimes they'll even be ss.

WE ARE FOR THE WORKING MAN, WE KNOW LIFE'S HARD, AND IF WE CAN HELP WE TRY OUR DARNDEST TO.

IF WE OFFER FREE STUD FEE OR A PUP DEAL, IT'S AN OFFER TO LET OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCE WHAT WE'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS.

IT'S NOT TO MAKE MONEY. IT'S NEVER BEEN ABOUT MAKING MONEY FOR US, BECAUSE TRUST ME, WE'VE LOST MORE THAN WE'VE MADE. OUT OF OUR LAST LITTER OF 9 PUPS, WE'VE SOLD 2 OF THEM. THE REST WE'VE WORKED DEALS WITH FRIENDS AND THINGS OF THAT NATURE.

IT MEANS MORE TO US TO PUT THE PUPS IN HANDS OF PEOPLE THAT ARE GOING TO HUNT THEM AND TAKE CARE OF THEM, AND DO WHAT NEEDS DOING IF IT IS NECESSARY, THAN MAKING A QUICK $300 OFF OF A PUP.

Christy I was really Pissed at an Ad I saw in the Walker Classified

About 4-14 month Old Performance Pups that the Guy was Going to "Put them in the Ground" if he could'nt sell them for $200.00..

That got me Thinking May Be Just To Many Pups are being Produced thanks to This Program..

Plus Christy I really Feel for you if next year you may have to Drive Sid and Jr. all over the U.S. to breed to females.. That will be alot of Gas..

Mr Morrow, there are grade pups buried everyday. That is a sorry fact of life. There are SS,PP, UKC/PKC/AKC reg pups buried everyday. That is another sorry fact of life. None of this is the fault of the programs. It is the humans that are responsible, not the programs.

I guess you read my post above and somehow managed to conclude that I was saying it is just fine to overproduce pups. I can't for the life of me understand how you came up with that but of course anything is possible.........

Shoot I even seen one guy add a video to his add of his dogs hunting at mid day...Funny how the video showed me nothing I would want from a hound esp if I had to pay 450 dollars or more just because some guy came up with his own thinking on genetics and thinks crossing two breeds is the best thing since sliced bread. Then the same guy tries to register these cross breeds as pure just becasue they fit the standard! Then he complains because the pp is recking the breeds.......

I can understand why he is down on the breeders programs since none of his pups that he is selling are eligable for any of those programs. I can understand that it would probably be much easier for him to sell pups if he didn't have to compete with all those cull pups that are Super Staked and Performance Program eligable.

But as I have Gathered by your statements "its to Sell Pups Easier".

What would make you honestly believe that the reason for the KC's and their programs was to improve dogs ?

The reason is about money , to increase nite hunt participation ... registration fees and create new ways of making revenue .... the KC's are a business .

But , they are a business that relies heavily on customer satisfaction ... and UKC's Performance Program has achieved that in spades.

This thing about folks hollering " I thought this was about improving the breeds " .. is nonsense , you gotta be some kind of knothead to believe that deep down ..... which means Steve has started a thread based on a lie , how you gonna have an intelligent convesation when you start with some kind of dumb-butt theory ?

Steve, the Majestics aren't even a UKC recognized breed ..... so it aint hard to see that you are just trying to up your own pups sells considering your dogs don't belong to any legitimate breed ... you can't outsmart folks that are smarter than you ... didn't you know that ... of course not , lol.

Worry about your own kennels , that's the best way to improve your breed of choice .... yapping about how others ought to do stuff won't accomplish anything .

performance program is for big & small breeders !! my old dog ntch.rough creek easy ace, was # 1 performance sire 2007 in the black & tan breed from only 3 litters & in the top 5 for 2006 with 2 litters !! so you dont have to mass produce pups for this program to work for you !! this is proof that sellect breeding is the way to go,
