-- Elvis pup learns to open pen door at 5 months 'video' (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=216068)
It seems I overlooked the part of the UKC user agreement that forbids saying anything bad about a Elvis dog. Let me go and say some Hail Mary's and repent of my sin.

Remington, I will post UKC#'s tomorrow night. I dont have the papers here with me.
We have culled 2 of our own out of Elvis, my nephew sold one of to a hog hunter who knew up front she was very ill in the box and on the tree, and the other has been spayed, thinking that would fix the problem. It seems to have helped. My other hunting partner had his male pup neutered and it seemed to help his aggression but he went from being a wide, hard hunter to one that you just about have to walk over a track.
If you havent learned by now, Thick skin is needed and truthful comments about a breeding dogs offspring should be welcomed. I guess we should only pay attention to the positive comments about pups we breed and ignore and try to ignore the negatives.
well i personally have had no experience with elvis bred dogs but i have raised a litter or 2 in my life and been around a hound or 2 and 1 thing i learned is no matter what stud you are talking about you can find a few examples of every bad trait in a pup somewhere. That doesnt mean that he throws litters of ruff dogs or whatever the bad habit happens to be.

if you live in stearns, ky I live just across the hill from you and I would like to see them go. I have a pup out of elvis that my friend is hunting for me that has some mean tendencys also. But it is only when he is highly pressured or flat out attacked. But seriously I would like to see them go just because I like to see what kind of hounds is in the area.

Do you ever hunt around Peter's Mtn or BSF or Pine Knot?
Ive coon hunted in beaver creek a time or two. But I deer hunt or hog hunt beaver creek about every day of the season. Even though you have gotten rid of the elvis dogs I would still like to go hunting with you. Shoot you can never have enough people to hunt with.

While we are waiting on the figures for Elvis's offspring from the Million dollar man check out this video------- http://youtube.com/watch?v=nuu9vYLR3tk
Nice video...here is a 5 week old pup seeing the 1st coon he has ever seen. He is just a grade dog, raised by a friend of ours in Middle/West Tennessee. Out of the 9 pups in that litter (plott/cur crosses) all but 2 are running and treeing their own coon and several of them were on a few bear trees last fall.

And never fear Wesley, the guy who has the Elvis pup I give him for a hog dog is going to call and give me the UKC# later tonight,so you can see just what she was out of, etc.

Ben,
Just wanted to let you know that there are a lot of folks reading these posts that love to tend to everyone else's business.
I bought a pup straight from Wesley at the Grand American. He was trained by him and sold to me as a started dog. After 2 weeks of hunting I had a 4 year old Cutter dog torn up at the tree and 1 week later I had a 7 year old Grand nite champ cut up by him that required stitches. So there are some out there that are showing some signs of illness. I gave the pup away.
If there are those that like the cross, that their business. For those of us that have had some bad luck with it, we are certainly entitled to tell our story. I wish Wesley luck in finding where this illness is coming from.

Wes, You need to quit taking this so personal.
There is nothing wrong with me or anyone else saying what they have seen firsthand from several different Elvis pups. It is my opinon, an opinion I feel is correct. It takes nothing away from Elvis, his brains or ability, nor does it take away from the pups he has produced that have never shown aggression beyond that of a normal hound.
Make me a good deal on that Elvis pup you have for sell and make me a Elvis fan. So far I have had bad luck, both with a couple I have owned and hunted and a couple others I have hunted with. Maybe it was a fluke, a fluke I saw repeated eerily similair by 4-5 different dogs.
I don't take it personal, I ask for facts not rumors or hearsay.
well, i really dont want to jump in on this i believe one is entitled to there own opion about any stud. but i have had GREAT results with my elvis pup. and just had one bred to elvis. and thinking about taking another. im in school and its just like a few bad kids in your class at elementry school. the bad apples will ruin all the fun for the rest of the group. i believe you are intitled to let everyone know your experiance about your hound but DONT run down another mans post with you "UNRULLY CLASS MATES". if you had something to say about elvis say it get it over with instead of dragging the whole line of ELVIS dogs down with you. i know ALOT of people who love the elvis line. and you sir are the first i have herd about not likeing it cause of fightin in fact the first one i have ever hear about. thats all i have to say on this matter. keep up the good work with ELVIS and his offspring Mr. Sanford

I use "Elvis temperment" "Elvis mean" etc. Let's put some meat to your slick alligations.Post what you find here so we can have proof Surely you can back up what your saying. As far as my videos go, 5000 satisified Tree My Dog customers can't be all wrong.
