Just wanted to let you know no hard feelings here and that i apologize also that we had cross words. Ive too been caught up on here in discussions that shed the wrong light at times, and this was another example. nothing wrong in taking prides in your dogs and hard earned accomplishments, they are desrved and dotn stop doing so. its obvious 8's acomplishments were team effort. liek i told you, i think most on here would agree that gauage is a nice hound, you just need to contract out the PR department. take care and good luck with your dogs and im going to stop b4 this turns into a love fest

Had someone else handling her he miss called her and withdrew looked at some coonwith her. going to breed to 9 got all the stuff lined up for it

I dont go on here much and I know why. But I couldnt help it when I got a call about what you posted Norm. If I have the story correct I think Danny did go to your house to hunt as Terry was there since you brought him all the way down from michigan to try out a dog that couldnt get under a coon. Then after guage beat you like a drum the first night you wanted danny to come over a second night to hunt but he chose not to as I wanted to hunt guage that night and I wasnt home from work until 7 pm that night. Im sure that anyone who knows Danny would never believe you that he was scared to go hunting with your dog as he is very confident in what he has on his leash. But what I will tell you is that I have Guage at my house right now and if you truly do want to throw a challenge out there like you claim you once did. Go for it! But do it publicly and have a big wallet when you do! Im sure we could find plenty of spectators and a good neutral judge! As for anyone else who would like to see guage go for a pleasure hunt. Feel free to call me any time and if he is here I will be glad to take you hunting. I think he will speak for himself. 440 344 0614.

I dont think me nor danny nor erik were meaning to damage your post here but I reckon that if someone was on here bashing your dog Im sure you wouldnt hesitate to defend it if the information was INCORRECT!!as it was!!!!!!, its wrong for one fellow conhunter to bash another mans dog with WRONG information!!!!! Just wanted to make this CLEAR, we had NO intentions other than to shut the bad mouthers up and if you feel it was just with intetions to wreck your post your wrong! Im sorry if you feel that way but once again GOOD LUCK in your future breeding to Jet 9!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow now we are all getting along! This is whats all about! We all strive for the same thing, a nice coon dog. Im very sure Ed and Danny both carry something extra nice. And several others here. Some jeolousy in dogs, no doubt. But looks like all has worked out.
Megan I think is your name that handles Gauge, he's looking very good. I saw him the day Dan bought him.
I saw pictures of 9, he's also nice to look at. No doubt a coon dog!

Just wanted to say that i drew jet 9 last year at bluetick days. He was only 11 months at the time and looked super nice. Larry Harvey is also a A+ guy. I was up by 25 points with only 8 mins to go in the hunt time. We turned out again in a swamp and Jet 9 they called him Rock then... went in quick and he struck first then my female struck then he slammed a coon in about 4 mins and had the meat to beat me. Couldnt have asked for a more exciting hunt. I told Larry that night if he breed him i would like to try a pup. You wont find a nicer guy than Larry and what a nice kennel setup he has. I dont think you can go wrong with Jet 9 he had alot of natural ability as a pup and a nice classy tree dog.

well it always seems danny goes on a diffierant hunt then we do. i never took a dog that night that was on my feed bill. danny was calling people the next day and saying he spanked me with his gauge dog . i stated, thats the first time ive been beat when left my dog at home. the females that terry looked at were local guys and they did get under a coon but don't worry terry will be taking care of . the next day danny called and run his chops about how he was going to be back over at dark to spank me for real this time. long story short he was a no show. my dog can be beat but, the next time i get beat i'd like to bring him along. i ll go hunting only on the days it gets dark. we don't need no crowd either just you and i or danny. were men anough to ficure it out. sincerly,

i had five kids with me that night and i was triying to teach one of them the rules. all the years ive run the hunts ive never seen someone leave another to look for his dog let alone sportin five kids. after i found your dogs you guys baled so you good go talk smack back at the club. i had to call my wife to come get the kids. so i could track billy down in next county road over treed and he had been there along time. call me what you want but i dont cheat and ive never left a man stranded looking for a hound and you guys done both that night. and bud dont forget it was a ten dollar hunt. no place better to teach a your boy the rules. your still a little green yet you ll fiqure it out. your dogs out of some good stuff but, remember it's not always about winning if it was i would been handling that dog that night, not trying norm

the only reason i left the cast is my boy said his stomach hurt and wanted something to eat. we went 5 miles up the road to get something to eat and if you remember i had to put my dog in your box because the kids huntin billy didn't have one. so, i had to come back to give my dog a ride home. when we did we heard dogs treeing 20 yds off the road. no big deal ! just ride on your own boat next time even if its sinking and call it as you see it. don't be a follower. some cast are good and some are not. thats what i told them kids. the one that handled my dog is at black and tan days this weekend. i think he'll make it if you type of fellars don't knock the fire out of him. we still quote you guys when we are pleasure hunting. (i hear 'em you hear 'em i hear 'em you hear 'em) the kids asked what that was about ,they said their was no dogs barking. 8 minutes times what ever it takes to keep from getting a minus. i told them, you guys were trying to hold to what little bit of plus points you had and you ply cheated someone out of a placement.
