about the farmers makeing money. lol you better factor in fuel, fertilizer, and seed cost all of that went up too. it cost more to plant and produce now so you can bet prices are gonna go up but that dont mean the farmers are makeing a killing. alot of the prices going up all go right back to the cost of fuel. the cost of FUEL effects everything.

Last year with deisel running around 3 bucks, I figured it cost me $10 an hour just to sit in the seat, in fuel and oil expense. That is not counting anything else. I figure it will cost me close to $15 an hour this year. The same fertilizer I mentioned earlier cost me $40 last year and this year it is $70. I am sure glad there are people telling us how good we have it, or otherwise I would be feeling bad. I am sure the feeder calf buyers will want to help us out and pay us for our extra expenses incurred.
