Does everyone realize that this post was originally put on here in April of 2004 and was part of a monthly series John Wick did? Someone else just recently brought back to life this section. To completely understand what and why John was saying, his whole series would have to be read. It was good, and I wish he'd get back on here. In the meantime, I guess I'll just read his new book again.

Alot of people went to bashing him, jelousy, and he hasnt been back.

I did not realize the post was that old. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We bought a dog from him in about 1988. Got him off the airplane in Atlanta then drove 2 1/2 hours South entered him in a hunt and won 3rd place with 187 1/2+. The dog was 13 months old. When he was 6 years old I had to have his rear leg amputated at the hip. You would still walk yourself to death behind this hound. Wish I could find another one like him. Gave $400 for him. I'll take'm all like that. Thanks Rocky Tanner

Mr. Wick, i just got a puppy not too long ago and i was wondering if you had any training tips for me. I cant afford to buy your book right now but i really need tips on obediance.

You cant afford not to get the book if your just starting out, it may save your dogs life!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone should let Wick know that there are programs availible now-a-days that let you talk while it types. Maybe then Mr. Wick can(if he wanted) join back in with us.

Hello, Mr. Wick.. I got my husband your bood some 20 years ago, and now my 17 year old son has it stashed in his room, and he reads it.. I heard you were coming out with a new book, do I need to check Bloodlines or American Cooner as to where I can purchase a copy of it? We had walkers for lots of years, and nothing against them, but when my husband retired out of the military, we had to move, and he got out of hunting for a while.. Well, we are now back into coonhunting, and my son and daughter are going with B&T's, and I have a Bluetick female.. No matter what the hound, I like them all. But just wanted you to know it was nice reading your material, and I hope you come back to the forum and give more of your insight on whatever the issue concerning hounds.. Thanks for all the wisdom, and I need to get your new book.. Take care..

John Wick has done the coondog world so much good. He found and promoted dogs like Ozark Preacher,Stylish Banjo,and Camo Jug who never would have even been heard of other than locally.His products and training methods were always way ahead of their time even though they sure are copied now.How many of You remember when He put up His own money to expose a phoney-balony tracking system company that was selling a worthless product.John has found a way to make an honest liveing by doing what He loves and I guess it's because of this that some of you are so jealous that You enjoy bashing every move He makes.As for Me ,My hat goes off to John Wick ,and I want to say thanks John for all Youve done for us.

I remember the ad well.You never seen another ad from them after he exposed them.He should be in the Treeing walker hall of fame.I don't know if he is or not.
