-- What’s your best hunting streak without a break? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=189406)

Depending on the weather, I hunt about 5 nights a week now and when it's nice, I hunt 6-7 nights a week. I've never counted a streak, but I'd say when it's nice out I've prolly gone close to a month solid. Treed a couple in that time span too lol!

Fifty six days and it was the most fun I have had in a long time. Granted, that was just before I got married. Since then I don't think I have made it more than 3 in a row, and that's when I get released for good behavior.....yikes! Or show her my man card...dang I just sneak out sometimes when she ain't lookin'

Never really kept track, I hunt when I get a chance and feel like it. When it gets dark I am usually coon hunting. I do remember 30 yrs ago hunting a little hound around 350 nights one year.

My longest streak would have been in '89 when we went every night for over a year. Rain, snow, sleet, we went coonhuntin. We were training for others and we went rather we wanted too or not.

My wife keeps a pretty good record of this kind of stuff () and according to her from Feb 1 last year to Feb 1 this year I hunted over 270 nights. I singled Crank out at that time and I hunted her alone 240 of those nights or better by herself.

I dont keep real good track of it myself, but usualy I hunt 13 nights and stay home a night when I have one I want to single out. Usualy every other sunday night I stay home.

I decided about 3 weeks ago that Crank was what she was going to be now and I had pretty much taught her about all I was going to. With no new young one to hunt alone I havent hardly dragged myself off the couch since. Maybe hunted 3 nights in the last 3 weeks.

With Digger only being 6 months old, I have a few months to rest up for the next round.
