The key to figuring out her ped.

is she is another product of line breeding, inbreeding, family breeding however you determine it. She is a half brother/half sister cross.

This will work and has time after time. You have to make sure there aren't a lot of flaws or hardly any when you do this. a lot of the time you get some wound up sure nuff coondogs. I have done it with great results myself.
There has been a lot of debate on this type breeding. Here's your answer. It works sometimes. This time it did.

Congrats.

I believe that Insane Jane is an all grand female but what does that matter its the dog not what is on her or his papers who does the winning.

NAilor

Isn't she double nailor bred guys. Thats where the mouth comes from. Oh, yeah, Look back the last five years, I bet you will see it in a few of the winners from the world hunt. Jess Dickerson has brought alot to this breed, yet you don't ever see anyone talking about it. I just don't understand that. Tim

Tim,you are correct about Jesse and Nailor bringing a lot to the breed. The mouth was already in those dogs, but Nailor certainly didnt hurt it any. Those Nailor females have sure reproduced real well.
Hanna was bred to Bellars Psycho,Stylish Coma,Deventers Dan (Dan is inbred Pacman/Shep) and Rock River Gap. She produced whole litters of above average pups from each breeding. We were so impressed with her reproduceing history, especialy the dogs from her and Dan,that we decided to breed her with Pacman semen.Unfortunately,3 weeks into her pregnancy she became sick and it was discovered she was full of cancer. The treatment they gave her caused her to have a stroke and she aborted the pups, and then was put down.
But yes ,you are correct,Jesse Dickerson needs to be credited with a good part of Janice's breeding as well as many more of todays winners.

Theres no ? about it that theres a lot of good dogs all in one in her pedigree. I love her breeding, i think she is very balance and to me thats what it takes. I think when ever u guys breed her she will be a great reproducer too. She would cross great with psyhco. Didn't mean too offend anyone, just thought it was funny nobody was mentioning nailor. I know he had some bad foughts in his pups, but treeing and mouth wasnt one of them. Are you hunting her in any of the other world hunts.

i cant get off work to go,so Mike Nelson will be handling her next week at the AKC world. Trying to get a name changed in AKC is like pulling teeth,so watch for a dog called Deventer's Hog Creek Fe Fe.
I dont know about the PKC world, other than I wont be takeing her. After that she comes back to me and we will just pleasure hunt a few months.
Good luck to you if your going.

One thing that has always impressed me about Russ is that he is a man who gets things done! And he gets them done HIS way! That may get him jammed up from time to time but when it is all said and done, he makes it work, usually in his favor. But when it comes to changing that dogs name at AKC, I believe THE MAN has met his match.

?

Are the Deventer's hog creek dogs owned by Ralph Deventer in Coldwater,Mich. ?

Marv, with a different name and different handler maybe "FeFe" can sneak up on someone just take home another world title.
Congrats on your UKC World win and best of luck at the AKC World. I sure wish I was going. Got 3 dogs qualified and can't make it.
