Number two definitely. His backline is smooth, whereas #1 is a bit swaybacked. His shoulder angulation is nicer also-look at the chest and how much is in front of the leg. #1 is very straight-he won't have good reach and will have a hard time keeping up.
#2 has a better neck/shoulder assembly-how and where the neck attaches. It is smooth and #1 is a little ewe-necked. 2 looks a bit meatier also-I don't like a refined hound, and DEFINITELY not in my males!
That being said-pup 1 looked straighter in the feet than 2-it could be wiggly puppy syndrome, but if they naturally stack like that then 2 looks a little cowhocked.
Keep in mind that since these are pics, it could be your fault! LOL Without seeing them in person, or seeing them move, it is hard to say. Movement tells a lot about how they are put together.
Also take temperament into consideration-a well built dog with no drive will lose to a mismatched dog with loads of work ethic every time. I know, I have a B&T here that looks like an old nag, but beats the dogs to the tree every time.
They are definitely both adorable-and I am sure will make fine coondogs.....I hope I don't offend anyone with these remarks-after all, I could be blowing smoke!

I'd go with Indy, Andy has the white on his nose.
No reason other than that. But they are just pictures. Have fun picking!

So I'm counting 10 for Indy and 9 for Andy?

So which is it....?
I'm leaning towards Indy at this point. His markings are balanced on both sides, even though he has a bit to much black I think... personality wise they are a tie.
Body is heavier on the other male, but his back legs tend to come in at the knees. His face is also heavier, more broad and "thick."

Oh, forgot to mention... Indy impressed me yesterday. We were seperated by a retaining wall and called the pups. Both instantly responded and headed our way, but Indy chose to climb the wall while Andy decided to take the long way around it. I liked his guts, took him longer, but he did make it!

Well, Indy will be staying here. He's mine.
Andy has been re-named Tuff... looks like he's going to be sticking around to keep our daughter company.
So, our newest additions are:
Life's a Beach- Indy
R U Tuff E Nuff- Tuff

I decided since Suzanne and Macy raised these pups, that I would give them BOTH of them....
Makes the picking easy!!
Thanks for all that you guys done for us. I'll never forget it.

That is Awesome!
It would have been tough to choose, both pups have such different good qualities. I look forward to watching them BOTH grow up and see how they develop and how they do!
What a nice surprise!
Have fun with them, hope the whole liter does great hunt and show!
