Mathews...Legacy..super quite.
Do not like Rage broadheads too expensive...and the way they open up not reliable the blades interfere..stickin with fixed after two years of problems with mechanical just my opinion...now have killed 8 pointer last fall and first turkey...just toooo many problems with mechanical...September 15th the world stops n bow huntin begins.

Bows

I shoot whatever Mathews new one is. This year it is the Drenalin. It kind of helps that I work for them and I would be stoned if I were to shoot something else.

We both shoot either the 07' Fred Bear Element. Love it. Very quiet and almost no handshock. Also shoot Montec G5 broadheads with Hunter Maxima Carbon Arrows or 07' Bowtech Diamond Justice, with the same arrow setup.

Mathews MQ-1. The best bow made (In my opinion)

Has anyone tried the Rocket Broadheads? We switched from the muzzys to them about 2 years ago.. I have been the only one to test them on an animal And they worked great. But most people look at me funny when I tell them about them..

Maybe the question should be, has anyone else heard of them? LOL

Scott little goose.
Easton aluminum 2117's.
125 gr. Muzzy's.

My set up shoots good, and I kill plenty of deer with it.

engman99 Whisper creek archery has a bow out that is real nice it is 25 and 3/4 inches axle to axle. And it is 500 dollars with everything but arrows. I think the name of it is stealth lx. Its one of the if not even the quiestest bow out on the market.

I have an

Onieda Eagle Black Hawk! Ted Nugent has one too. Not your average bow! They break in the middle. Shoot real smooth!

Matthews FX

It's smokin fast and i love it......but i never saw a fat indian

Posted by engman99 on 08-02-2007 04:31 PM:

Travis P,no thanks on them little short bows. They are too unforgiving for me.The shorter a bow is the more it will amplify any faults in your shooting form.Hand torque, bad release,ect....
I would venture a guess that 99% of the people on here bragging about how great their bow is are release punchers.
Wait until you go through a good bout of target panic with one of them short bows.

Bowtech Extreme VFT

Its a couple years old but it will blaze and arrow and stays plenty quiet.

Wouldnt mind having one of those new Diamond Black Ice bows, ive heard nothing but good things. Anyone shooting one?

Posted by Travis P on 08-02-2007 06:48 PM:

engman99 I understand what you are saying about the little short bows showing your faults of shooting form but theirs a thing called brace height that will help hide it.
