1998 i believe sackett jr was hit by a car. A man by the name of toe cutter on here would know, he has a stud by the name of red eagle boomer who is 16 yrs old and direct of sackett jr

RED EAGLE MACK IS DIRECTLY OUT OF SACKETT JR AND IS 16 YRS OLD NOW. BORN JULY 10,1997

RED EAGLE STYLISH BOOMER IS 4 YRS OLD AND IS A GRANDSON OF SACKETT JR.

I THINK IT WAS 97 JR WAS KILLED ON THE ROAD.

if they were sired by jr they will be at least 12 yrs old. there was no semen collected on Jr. so whats left out there is it.

Thanks everyone. I thought he had been killed several years ago but was not sure of the year. I might need to talk a little more to someone that could help out a little more. A man in my county has a male dog born may 2006 that he says is direct out of Sackett Jr. (which does not add up) could someone have named his dog's sire Sackett Jr. or could the litter reg. papers have gotten fixed/forged by someone with Sacketts UKC #. How close does UKC check the papers sent in. I have a female that goes back to Sackett Jr.'s Penny and I like the Sackett line, plus my female is his dog's aunt on the bottom side(mine is out of Hard Hamming nails, his is a grand son of Hard hammin Nails on the bottom side) I like for my papers to be as accurate as I can get them.

your right GA DAWG, my math was incorrect. I owned a direct off Jr in 98 and was SUPPOSED to be one of his last litters before he was killed. Sold him when i moved to Georgia in 2001. Ran into the guy a few months back and the dog lived to be 12 and a super nice coon dog but he was only pleasure hunted after I sold him.

Hey Christy! The man said it is direct out of Rock River Sackett Jr.
I looked at the papers and it did have Sackett Jr. as the sire, I think I have figured out what has happened. My brother in law and myself have been trying to figure it out ever since the man told us about the dog, my brotherinlaw has hunted many times with the mans dog and the man keeps saying that he owned the sire of his dog Fred, (The dog in question) if this is the case this is what I believe has happened, I would say he owned the sire of Fred, (which would have been out of Sackett Jr.) and I guess that when the man filled out the litter reg. papers he has put the wrong numbers down for the sire. On the front of any dogs/pups permanent UKC papers starting with the dogs/pups name at the top you have the dogs/pups registered (As) name then the UKC # then the breed then sex then color then you go onto (The sire is) and his number then (the dam is) and her # then the birthdate of the dog/pup. So when he was looking at the papers he seen where it said (The Sire is) and wrote down that information, and signed off as the owner, and UKC did not catch it. I would like to talk with UKC about this (because I want to bred to Fred, which is probably a grandson of Sackett Jr.) but I don't know if they will give me any info on the papers. Thanks again to all. (still not wishing any bad luck/or trouble for anyone, just would like for my papers to be as right as they can be).
