I HAVE TALKED TO CURT A COUPLE TIMES, CURT DID MOST OF THE TALKIN (LOL), I MEANT TO PUT HIM ON THE LIST, CURT WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO SHOW ANY PUPS OFF OF TRACKMAN IN THE WOODS, YOU DONT GET THE STUD DOG, YOU GET WHAT HE REPRODUCES, I HAVE TALKED TO TROY FERRARI, LARRY BRADY, AND TODD ARMES. THEY ARE ALL NICE GUYS, ALL OF THEM TOOK TIME OUT OF THEIR DAY TO CALL ME BACK, THANK YOU

I'm going to suggest a dog THAT I DO NOT OWN A HAIR OF. Yes, he belongs to a friend of mine, but I own a couple of fair stud dogs myself.

Given the trait that you have shared with us, I would suggest that you look at the Tree Grippin Joe dog.

Joe is putting some really nice dogs on the ground, they are tree dogs that have a coon. They have a tendency to be a little tight mouthed out of some females, but they would retain the track ability, and may be able to stick some "velcro" to the feet of those pups.

Joe is probably the most underutillized stud dog in the Walker breed. He is a nice looking dog that put a lot of good traits in his pups.

Style is a good choice, and I would certainly recommend you breeding to him as well, but if you insist on traveling.....Look at Tree Grippin Joe....you won't be sorry.

lipper gyps back in the old days were my bread and butter. we had 7 all together. lipper females made alot of stud dogs famouse. we bred lipper females to several differant studs. they all were good crosses, the great crosses were made on studs that through jam up tree dogs. if i had a good lipper gyp now i would breed her to rat attack, trackman , cowee creek clint or skuna river fred.

WildBill, I also talked with (have never been out with) RAY WEBB, sounds like he's got some real nice coonhounds down there in Johnstown. Good lookers too! I love my blues, but his walkers are nice.
As for nite hunts, they do change a person, don't they?

you are so right ,,
RAYS boone dog is the type we all like to hunt
no nonsence ,go hunting, dont take all night to tree a coon, and will move out of the way for a bouncing dog and will be there when you get there, and dont care what the other dogs are doing,he is worth going hunting with if you get a chance to hunt with him
and he has a nite ch.title which he wouldnt have had if i had owned him from a pup..and he could have a show title if they would put him in the shows..

ray and his family are real nice people too..

I would beleave that Curt did most of the talking. I also must say I'm sorry and I misspoke in my earlier post. Sweat needs one more win to be grnite. I just got off the phone with him about breeding a female to him. I would really consider breeding her to him. He is close to you and that dog is a coon dog. Good luck with your cross and sorry about the mistake on the wins.

LIPPER STUFF

I HAVE IN THE PAST HUNTED WITH OFF SPRING OF LIPPER AND TWO OF THE FEMALES I HUNTED WITH WERE AS TOUGH AS THEY COME AND THE OTHER THREE WERE MALES THAT WOULD GET IN THE DARK GET A COON GOING RUN THE TRACK ONE WAY, FAST AND COME TREED WITH A MOUTH YOU COULD HEAR A LONG WAY IN THE COUNTRY. THESE HOUNDS WERE ACCURATE AND WOULD STAY HOOKED NO MATTER WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND THEM. WERE THEY MEAN.........NO WAY..........WOULD THEY STAY TREED WITH THE MEAN..........YOU CAN BET YOUR LIFE ON IT............
