She was bred to Xjr . For those of you wondering Jane was entered in no more than 20 pkc this last yr.Of which the last 6 she won.I drew her the last 3 before Russ left for the UKC WORLD HUNT and she put it on the rest of the cast.I think with what she has won this month she has won close to a $1000.00 this yr.

I don't believe in gambling or I would try to take a 30 minute retirement with all of the winnings that you guys could afford to wager.

Posted by hardtime hunter on 09-26-2006 12:46 AM:

yes, I talked my Pastor, he said it was, what a shame, I sure wanted to take Friday afternoon off on the money that's winable.

I see, that is too bad, maybe if you changed churches you could still get that Friday afternoo off?

I'm afraid I will lose my hunting buddy, my hunting buddy Pastors the church that I go to

Mr.Pencil,I might have taken your comment the wrong way, there is much negativity on this computer ,I thought you were poking fun at pkc hunters,I hunt both registries, more pkc than ukc,we don't have to wager anything, but my (pkc dog)is hear for anyone to see anytime

Duke, I think you had one that finished eight. That is great in my book. Congratulations!!

Larry had won the UKC world, it's just been a few years. He has also competed at the highest level in PKC and any other hunt that he has wanted to. My Proulx knows what it takes to win.

I also know he doesn't need me defending him or his dogs.

It never fails that I regret it when I get on this board. I will never understand why UKC allows this to go on.

I have dogs to hunt, I don't have time for this horsecrap.

Duke I wasn't running anybody or their dog down, my pkc number is in the 4 digets, I just wanted people to realize that dogs have to make trees with coon in them to win and the Quick bitch treed the most coon last week, it doesn't matter what registery that you cast a dog in, it's just the dog that trees the most coon with the least amount of mistakes that usually wins, sometime handlers like yourself can change the outcome of a cast but not as often as the loosers would like to believe because you try to hunt the best dog that you can train and the best dog is supposed to win, Quick was the best dog last week.

smooch, smooch now he is dukes buddy.lets see the 4 digit number.

I tend to forget it, old age is taking it's toll.

I believe one of the biggest mistakes hunters make is excuses, never (usually) will you here my dog looked bad or I got beat by a good dog in the ukc hunts(my opionon)in pkc I have found most of the regulars are pretty honest with themselves and seem to strive on getting better dogs or bettering the dogs the have

Posted by PR PENCIL on 09-26-2006 03:43 AM:

the best hunters will always be looking for a better dog, thats what seperates competion hunters from pleasure hunters, also winners from loosers

Posted by Duke Proulx on 09-26-2006 03:44 AM:

Mick I'm with you I should be out hunting right now but(famous last words)Nowhere cut her foot at the finals in Tenn, trying to get it to heal before the weekend I have a 500$ added in New York

Posted by kscooner on 09-26-2006 02:59 PM:

Good luck on that Duke. Sounds like Nowheres is one of those rare dogs that can not only win, but also reproduce. Doug needs to hire Marcus as a PR man for his pup.

Sure would like to find a Skuna River female to breed to Hot Rod.

Have a good one...Mick

This is stupid!!! There aint no such thing as a PKC or UKC dog. They dont know the difference. I hunt alot of both, more Pkc than UKC because there is one every night. And I guarantee the dogs I draw at the PKC hunts aint no better than dogs I draw at the UKC hunts. At least it does take plus points to win in UKC. Also you cant buy your way back in to the world hunt in UKC, you get beat you go home. Also they have to prove they can go hunting and tree a coon by itself to win the UKC world hunt. For those that think a hound is that much better just because they are entered in PKC events is stupid. I hunt them every night and dogs are dogs.

I dont believe you know what your talking about. I cant believe you hunt much pkc. Must not hunt anywhere around north ga.I will promise you are gonna draw tougher hounds at your local pkc than you are at your local ukc hunt!!!!!! I dont think someone who hunts so much pkc would have the statement.( Atleast it does take plus points to win in ukc) in there responce. Heck its a no brainer you are gonna draw tougher dogs in pkc. You might be hunting a 15 month old pup against a six year old platinum champion or gold champion or grand or night champion.
