i voted...
Bluetick... But, I am getting real partial to my son's redbone male pup.. Maybe thinking of finding him a friend of a different
breeding for the future.. I thought that the Bloodline's showed some real good looking Plotts, too.. I liked reading about their history..
Voted for...
Walkers of course...Lone Pine, Flag breeding.....
love them ole hounds!

Law Dog,
You should know by know that in every state, walker's will win your poll. Everybody has them because they don't have to work with them to tree as much as the others. I'll take a redbone, bluetick, or plott pup (in that order) over a walker. It may take more patience more time to train them but when you do, the walker is going to get walked on.
wipeout and yadkin river
Heart
No hound has more heart than a plott hound. When the going gets ruff you better have two things, a plott and a great pair of brushbusters. Thats is if you want to see real live coons. If not take that ol walker out and he will pull up on the edge of that cut over. No coon will be there, but you can always find a spider eye and get a head start home.

*PLOTTS*
We have 5 of em right now.....
I like Iron Mtn., Pioneer, Berlin King, Star Mtn., Sizzlin Heat and most of all, Bluff Creek bred dogs. They all have the brains, nose, grit, and tree power that I could ever want. And for the first time ever on a poll, Plotts are second in the lead. :-)

Black n Tan all the way. Schenker's Smokin Joe blood is the best!!!
I don't know about Texas, but in Tennessee, plotts have made a huge comeback. I remember just about five years ago, never seen a plott around the hunts. Now there's at least three every time I go. They make some good competition too. One treed two in one tree and had another one around thirty minutes later.
