-- Treeing walker question (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928559421)
After a few times to the rump all you to do is rattle the bbs or shoot something near…mine very seldom bark…usually a stern “no” is all that is needed and sometimes when I have to repeat the no a little too often then the reminder usually works…

I've posted this about 5 times. By far the best wat to stop barking is with a water hose. I got a solenoid valve from an old washing machine. Hooked it to a water supply and put a spray nozzle on the output. run an extension cord from the solenoid into your house. When he barks plug in the extension and it will spray the dog. In about 5 sprays when the solenoid clicks he'll be in his house before he gets wet.

Shadinc, that's a good idea but my pens are aways from the house.

I think most problems are because you have the collars on too loose ,allowing them to slide back and forth rather than too tight. Just nice and snug should take care of your problem.

My main no bark is a sportdog. But i also use and prefer the Garmin 550 pro. Prefer the pro because it tells you how many times they actually bark. The pro is a shock collar that can also be used as a no bark collar. It is at least 15 years old and still works perfectly. Most all collars come with long and short prongs. I use the short prongs mostly because they seem to fit better. Those long prongs may well be your problem Hope this helps with your problem.
