Autumn Oaks Dual Championship Leopard Breed Winner

Cast win Autumn Oaks 2023 Dual Championship Leopard Breed Winner at 9 years old. Hunted solo and went out and done what he does, 225+, 450 no minus under a big full moon.

2023 UKC Zone Cast Winner

Rush hunted UKC World Zone 6 in Clarksville, GA handled by Chuck Slattery. Friday night didn't go very well. Rush finished with 300-. Left the first tree he made about 30 seconds before the cast got to the tree to go lay down in the water and cool off (a leopard thing). Left his second tree when another dog covered him. He just started this this year. No excuses here.

Saturday night started off looking kind of like a repeat. Rush got a first and a second and left the tree and treed again 60 feet away. He doesn't like to cover. Ended that drop with 225 circle and 75 minus. Next drop he came roaring back with two first and firsts for 450 plus leaving him with a cast winning score of 375 plus. Good enough to advance to Ohio.

Rush is the 2023 Purina Series Nite Hunt American Leopard Hound Breed Winner. This is a fitting capstone to his competition career. He is retired now and is pleasure hunting every week. I'm sure he still has a few wins left in him but feel it is the right time to retire him. He'll be 10 in May and is still going very well.
