Howdy!

Good sign jokes! Always love to see stuff like that.....

TOO HOT HERE! That is what it was today... got into the low 80s. Poor black Webster was WAY too hot outside! Got to let fresh air in the house... set up a chair in front of the screen door where the kitty could lie and breath it in... It feels real nice right now! LOVE IT! Unfortunately our tarps on the dog shelter died... so there's no shade in the big dog pen... the yard off the house was bearable for Webster and he snoozed out there a good deal today. I understand RAIN is on the way though....
April showers.... hope to get some NICE May Flowers!

Corky, my town but not my house. It looks like downtown Bagdad. 95,000 homes without power. It just snapped the telephone poles and downed trees and destroyed houses. My stepgrandson went to work this AM and turned around and came home. His place of employment was "destroyed". It looks like he is out of work for awhile. One small town, Ringold, Ga, was completely leveled. Over 100 people were killed in the southeast. My stepson works for a construction company and has a truck and chainsaw. He had to clear 28 trees out of the road in order to get home yesterday evening. But today the weather is just gorgeous. Maybe Al Gore was right about the Global Warming. When you deplete the Ozone layer you have more extremes of weather. There is nothing to protect our atmosphere.

Hey folks... I enjoy any and ALL the pix!

The storms.... still praying and praying...

Last night our youngest son, Dylan got his EAGLE scout rank! Just waiting on the official paperwork but... it was a PROUD Moment for us all. His late mom would have been GLOWING just like Bob was! We sat on the board of a boy who ironically... is going to college in ME for Wildlife Biology so I ACTUALLY got to ask him some ???s and give him some advice to get in touch with some hunters up there when he gets to college to do some coon and big game hunting with hounds. He is Psyched! I went to the meeting expecting to be bored silly with a bunch of scout strangers... and ended up seeing some friends of ours orig. from West VA (LOVE to HEAR them talk!!)... and then got to be part of that AWESOME young man getting HIS eagle the same night OUR awesome boy was getting his. PRETTY cool and it was AWESOME to see Bobs son be the fourth generation of William fellows to make Eagle. Bob was unable to since his parents didn't let him... But since 1925 or 26 the William men have been scouts and at least one in each generation has made Eagle!
Well, we had rain and thunder and a little lightning yesterday.. cooled down the temps nicely. It was so hot and humid and muggy yesterday... YUCK! TOO hot for us Northerners... Today it is sunny and lovely. the flowers are popping out everywhere! I LOVE SPRING!!
