I'm BACK!

SO SOrry I disappeared so thoroughly... did NOT mean to be gone THAT long! Ended up that my computer went to the shop for it's pathetic performance... JUST got it back today!
NO way I can totally catch up... but all is basically well here. Bob is getting better from his shingles SLOWLY but finally surely. The man NEVER misses work but missed a couple days! Of course he tried to do too much too soon. Learned his lesson and is now finally REALLY seeming to heal....
Webster dawg is doing quite well. Still slowly weaning him off the phenobarbitol. It is a long process BUT he has not had ONE jerk episode so far! WOoooHooo!
I am OK. Back neck and head have not been the best. Being OFF the computer for ten days actually made me.......... WORSE! I assumed NOT sitting with my laptop would be good but it wasn't. I realized how little I really can do actively during this break.... Thank Heavens for this laptop and you fine folks to yack at!
Been praying TONS for those effected by the weather. NOT being on here made me more worried about all of you guys and gals!
Well.. I bet I have about a hundred pages to read! Akkkk! Not sure HOW I will read all I missed!
Glad to see you are all well, to see the nice pix and hear you all being wiseguys like normal! Hope to see Johnny on here soon too!
Have a GREAT Easter all! I may be on here alot tomorrow since I'm staying home to be with the dawg while the family visits with more family. I just saw all the relatives last weekend for a birthday... and 2 weeks in a row socializing may be a bit much for me... BUT... I know most of you will be with family and in church meetinghouses to celebrate this most Holy of Holidays.

LOL... Hey, We had a decent day today... around 60. Sprinkled later in the aftn... supposed to rain if'n I recall...for a few days... SPRING flowers popping up, Peach buds! Cherry blossoms on a little cherry shrub we have! YAY!

SPINACH! YUM! NEVER had it really fresh till I bought this house... It was in the gardens and volunteered ALL over the flower beds... it was Sweet and clean and YUMMY! Missed it after that first year...LOL... I"m no green thumb! WOnder what Bob will grow this year???? Basil for sure and probably tomatoes again...Yum!

Warning... may have NO internet on and off. Our cable has been out for a couple days... we get some channels but the main box in the living room is not working... so nothing but on demand down here.... Tech. came today and found it is OUTSIDE at the street! Guess in the next few days we'll lose cable, internet AND Phone...since we use Comcast for all of those... Good thing we all have cell phones these days! LOL.. Just warning you all in case I disappear again...

A Local hunt club up in NH reminded me today that their first event is THIS weekend. Can't believe Bob is the one not well enough to go! This year when we head up to support the club and visit and watch the fun events.. we'll have to bring the BnT with us to keep his meds schedule up. This is Good in one way.. since he is a good visiting dawg... BUT ALL our coonhunting and BEAR hunting friends are going to LAUGH at the odd dawg...LOL...
Well... I"m sorry you all are having such HEAT already! Hope this summer will be a comfortable one for ALL of us!

Have turnips next week . Only problem I can foresee is they got hit by frost the first week they came up. Hope it lasts, this is the first spring turnips I ever tried and everybody knows the fall ones aren't sweet till frost.. Now spinach, that ain't Popeyse canned ones. That ruint me off spinach for forty years but fresh ones are Good. And whoever came up with putting boiled egg slices on top must have been nuts.

Sweet tea , turnips , buzz words. Did ya'll ever hear Billy Currington singing Good Directions . It' s a song full of country buzzwords but what tickles me is he is selling turnips off his tailgate "in the hot Georgia sun". Lawdy, it might have sold millions but I doubt if a Country Boy ever bought one. BUT, maybe they liked the part about sending his hotty to his mamma's joint for some Sweet Tea. Beats me.
