I poured the concert for my Kennels. I think that is hardest work I ever done. Never want to do it again at my age. It was 47 degrees when I got up.

When I came home today at 4:00 seen a coon out and about,when it seen me it headed into a culvert. Glad too see that's one that didn't get wiped out last season.

I think coon are moving early.

Good mornin',it's a new day and aint gonna be real warm till tomorrow. I never even thought about it Spotty,ole Gem was runnin' loose yesterday afternoon but she stays around the house when I'm gone. Now I know it's there I'll take them pups over there and see if they can smell it out.

Goooooooooooood hunt last night. Deacon treed twice and both dens and Jason female split treed and squalled the coon out of her den. They were treed about 75 yards apart. Not bad for a 11 months old pup. Had a buddy died Sunday. Tom Lipe from Murphysboro died. He was a Master of Hounds and a Bench Show Judge. He was a member of our club. He was 55 years old and he just retired in Dec.24,2011. Retired for four months. Never know.

Went for our walk last night around 6:30 and dog ran this up a tree.

In the eighties here today. I mowed the yard today. Then got the puppies out and sat under the big oak tree with Ariat my Aussie that stays in the house and she played with the pups while I watch for hawks and owls.

High 70's,nice breeze----you had a nice enjoyable day sounds like. I worked but still aint wore out. Hey Spotty Paul Hofreiter passed away--I didn't know he was an Army vet. in WW2. He was with Gen. Patton's 3rd Army at the battle of the Bulge,and received 2 Bronze Stars and 1 Silver Star. 90 year old gentleman and one hell of a man. RIP Paul.

Weather here was 62 gloomy with rain ,,just an ugly day ,but on the bright side we got cheap gas at 4.05 /gallon,,lol

Gas is $3.85 here.

Good Morning All, How we doin? Ain't been to town don't know how much our gas is. Don't think we got much rain but haven't checked the gauge. The Only out of season coons I shoot are in a picture.

Hey guys, Getting lazy in your retirement years or what? Been keeping busy around here doing projects and doing garden and yard work. A few more weeks and I will be taking care of baby goats. The frost we got a couple weeks ago really did a number on some of my Flowers and things. Mike you feeling pretty good? Chuck how are you doing? Bill must be having to much fun with Mike over on prohound hasn't been on here for awhile. Have a good day all and enjoy the cool while you can.
