Max hopefully between Tebow and Riptide I can get little V going pretty soon, weather is breaking for the better. Going to hunt Tebow a few nights by himself and then with Riptide a night and then little V will be on the loose!. Little V will share time aggravating the two of them. Down to three so it will be easier to share time and keep little V on the move with the two of them. If he as enjoyable as Riptide is to hunt we will be having some fun, can't get enough of good old common Blue dogs if you know what I mean! LOL!

Man a guy never knows, hell he may be a train wreck! Going by what I feel he has the ground work and the rest is up to him. We will encourage him along the way but we do understand only a small percentage ever makes it but with the blood running in his veins, from top to bottom he should do all right, time will tell.

Max we took Tebow tonight and made two dumps, two trees and two sets of eyes. Not bad for an old slow Blue Dog huh? We only had to walk off the road 211 yards the first tree after driving around and 246 yards the second dump so overall a pretty good night! Helps when you get up at 4:00am!

Max believe me there is plenty of hills to hunt not far from the house and many will tell you that. The other night due to high water we were hunting some government ground out by the lakes, still coons there, just have to know how to hunt them to get around. Water has taken over most of all the good flat ground we hunt, have a few places but saving them for the rainy day!!

Well Max we took Riptide and Tebow and back home by 11:00 PM. Made three trees, one with a coon and two dens. Believe me they are out of shape as bad as us, it will take a little while to get them back in shape and us much longer! LOL!

Hanna is in Wisconsin, she is were there is a few more coons. Hanna is doing a very good job for her age and hopes this pushes her to the next level.

Roy the old dogs can get lucky and tree one once in a while but are out of shape, working on that problem now. Hope to have them ready for Bluetick days if all goes as planned. Having little V to tag along will give us a little to look forward too and little more motivation. Max / Max Jr. are taking Daisy either Monday or Tue. to get things checked out. We will keep you updated.

Well we took Tebow to town for the first time tonight at a BBCHA Sectional at Robinson Illinois and he did alright for the rainy night we had. He got second place reg. with 425 plus and no minus points and was high scoring Blue Dog. Had second strike and first tree on one coon and first and first on another. They had 30 plus hounds so for the rainy night it was a good turn out I thought. Had several very good Blue Dogs that attended. Our Buddy Max Duniphan also finished out Indy 2 out to Grand night as well, I think they had four cast of night champions that hunted. Overall a pretty good night for them good old common Blue hounds huh Max?

Thanks guys but now such luck tonight. It was about 50% handler issues and 50% hound actions. Corey has a little more learning to do with Tebow but not a bad start. Hunted with Jeff Timms young bitch tonight that is a litter mate to Ed's 10 hound and she did a good job for the water they were hunting in, only hound in our cast with plus points. She is a nice little tree dog that will get gone quick. Max Corey took some swimming lessons! LOL!

Max we took Tebow and Little V (4 months old) for a short hunt and had some fun. First dump Little V went about 200 yards and then made his way back, he sure thought about taking a hike! Tebow struck and drove one to about 800 yards and treed in a very little tree along a big corn field and had a big one! No little V did not tree but we did do some training.

We went for a short hunt with riptide and little 5. Treed a den tree and a coon. and came home. The pics aren't the best I forgot the camera and had to use my phone.

Little 5 at 4 months old is starting to figure it out about going hunting.

Here a pic of little 5 on the left and riptide on the right, he follows dad out of the woods without a leash.
