crocket pups

had two great nights with misty II this week. She ran a track with the older dog last night and treed awesome. What a mouth!! when you cut her loose she is a get gone type of hound hunts out the woods great for a young dog that up until the coon fell out of the tree from a strange case of lead poisoning last night had only seen one coon in her life. tonight first dump opened up first on a track before the 3 yr old smoked it in to a big doze pile uses the right amount of mouth on a track and hard hard tree dog. second dump both dogs got struck about 200 yds out pushed it good down the draw then across into the next and dogs were split treed bout 50 yards apart the 3yr old was closest so tied him up and went on in to misty's tree she stayed put the harder the 3yr old would tree the harder misty would tree both dogs had the meat what a night for a young hound that has only been to the woods less than a dozen times.

thanks for posting Mike. I can't wait to hunt with her this winter. I'm really excited about what we are seeing and hearing from folks with pups out of Crocket. Go Misty Go!

Going to start getting these young dogs fired up. 2 more weeks with Crocket and then I'm going to give my young hounds all the hunting time they can handle. Hide season can't get hear fast enough!

You blue dog guys are sure makin it hard on an old black and tan guy lol our season opens up here sat night its gonna be a fun season here in iowa hunting a couple really nice young dogs this season you will see misty gettin her picture taken at some hunts this spring you can bet on it

That's awesome Mike! I'm glad you and Misty are getting along. I believe her litter is 100% all running and treeing. Hope they all make it to town too

Hunts hard and wide ALONE. Gets struck quick and runs a track like she's looking at it and when she parks, she has her coons. I couldn't be happier with her.

Thank you Brother for giving her the opportunity. She is a go getter but has been stuck in that pen for a year going to waiste. I'm so happy she is getting to do what she loves and I know she will keep you in the winner's circle for years to come. Keep me posted and I will let you know the dates for the offspring hunt.

Yes just like her lol

She is a hard hunter with or without company that don't pass coon up and will fall treed on a layed up coon right in front of you. I hated to let her go but I can't hunt them all. Brother James will take good care of her. She is getting to do what she loves now. Grace is a winner in any company.

It has been a long time since I have been excited about turning a hound loose but Gracie makes me want to hunt every night. She will be in shape by the time coon season is over.

Had good hunt with Grace and James last night. We seen kittens that were still tiny. Late litters I recon. Grace is a hard hunter!
