I guess that it all depends on where you are coming from. I think Jared has easy hills. But then what does it matter when you are riding a side by side? George does have the best hunting. But I bet that it is awfully cold up at his house now.

There you go, "stacking the deck". You have a mid-January kind of dog. My lil pups have to have easy hot track coons. Maybe Buck would let me bring Moose. I would love to see/hear Moose, Haze and Boone on a turn-out in Mid Jan. Now that would be some real music to listen to.

How about this week end? Jason Guilliams should be out of school. He could bring Lil Wilma and Peep. Maybe Bond, Linkous and Buck could come. Pastor Mike might even be able to come up Sun and hunt Sun night and Mon night. Does everyone have their Christmas shopping done?

Jared ought to put on a hunt for Boones off springs,i would be ready for that hunt,

Boonies puppy derby that has a nice ring to it,what do you think Jared you need to set one up,Cory would be willing and I no Richard would be,we could a range it in the worst coon territory in the country, maybe in my back yard.

George

If I get me a good handler ole Whiz Bang out of Boone and Toadie will make some noise in the hunts this coming spring. She doesn't need any help now.Maybe I need to hire that little pro Austin Bowling to handle her?

PS the mountains aren't any good for the fat man, enough trouble in flat land.

George

Is Wheezie still as independant as she was? What happened to your neighbor/handler? If you come down to Jared's, you can bring your golf cart. Jared said that Fancy was doing real good now.

Posted by sox12 on 12-23-2014 06:22 PM:

I would like to hunt whiz and fancy together sometime.I think we would have a real nice hunt.Just to see how independent the two are.Whiz is to some point, but will work a track with others if they are on the same track, but to honor another dogs is ????.been having a lot of fun watching her progress each night hunting.I had offers of hunters trying to buy her but laughed at them,i said she is NFS.

I took my cousin and my son Garret out tonight. The coons are in there layup mode here in central Indiana so it's getting tough. Boone still managed to tree a two coons and a den. We had a good time and took advantage of some mild temperatures. It's a good thing we were on the UTV cause we were about 700 yards between trees. I think they would have been some tired boys.

where is the snow at Richard?they calling for wind chill to about -30 here tonight, and maybe up to 3 more inches of snow sunday.

George

Posted by Richard Lambert on 01-10-2015 02:59 PM:

They were "calling for" 12 degrees last night but yesterday afternoon when I was out it was 25 degrees with a wind chill of 17. I wish that we would get 3 inches of snow. I like the snow. It is not too bad out as long as the sun is shining.

Boone x Zip would be a good cross.
