Hey Corey I sure wish the weather would lighten up. I will get some photos of the 2 pups Duane has and post them. I think they are around 4 weeks old. maybe 5. Time really flies. Before you know it we will be hunting the corn fields again. Did I tell you I bred my Annie female to Scott Clark and Duanes Joker dog? Not an outcross either. Line bred some!

No you didn't but I remember you saying you were going to because he is out of some of duanes dogs. I've heard of him but haven't hunted with him. I'm ready for the cornfields to get here soon, but I garentee the first time I have to walk a half mile to the other side of one that is head high, I'll be bitching the whole way.lol

who owns the female corey ped looks pretty good should make a nice cross with dutch. With what dutch has for a ped and this female should get some outstanding hounds out this cross

Jason you had blue out yet this week? I went for a couple hours last night. Dutch treed one in brush pile and then a den. Turned champ loose by himself and we was out for right at about an hour before he came back in. I figured he fell asleep in a bush somewhere.lol

Corey i haven't had chance to do crap. Between moving in to the new house and work and kids i have had better chance pulling my teeth out then hunted. Blue been at me to get him out though every time i pull in he lets me know what time it is. I'm goin tonight and give it a shot about 7:30 we will see what happens it might not last long he is as big around as a barrell. He might hunt for 15 minutes and be like elvis and leave the building as fat as he is. But we will see LOL.

Well corey you were right. Went out wednesday night and man it was a good night to be out. Had three trees 2 on the outside lookin down 1 den and a whole in the ground. The whole in the ground was a bad deal. My buddy had his 5 month old walker female there and i tried to tell him not to let her get in the whole he did and about that time blue pulled the coon up out of the whole. The coon spun around and got ahold of that pup man it was a mess she might be ruined she didn't want nothing to do with that coon or anything after that i had to chase her down and catch her she was running away. I tell you some guys just don't listen to what you got to say. He's ony been coon huting for 6 months maybe. He thinks that pup needs to get real big real quick. Oh well it's his dog not my i guess i bet she wont mess with a coon for awhile. Outside of that blue did real good tree the first one in about 6 minutes not real deep. The second one took about 10 minutes and that one was deep deep. Next was the den and he went a freakin mile for that thing. Then the whole and that was fairly close . So wasn't a bad night at all. But the coon were moving i bet we saw at lease a dozen on our way there and back

Sounds like he's ready to roll. You better take him over to boone this weekend. Hopefully that walker pup isn't ruined, I'm sure it will be fine if he gives it time.

must be nice to see a dozen coons setting up we did not see a dozen all fall. with all the snow and ice looks like it will be awhile before we get to see whats out there.

How much snow are you guys suppose get. It's been blowing, sleeting, raining, thundering, you name it here almost all day. Perfect timing for a day off. Nice all freaking week then I get a day off and we get this crap.

Don't think i'll be making boone and if this crap keeps up don't think there will be a whole lot of people with this crap going on. Yah cb i know what you mean during hide season i didn't see a whole of coon either but now that it's over i see a piss pot full LOL. Go firgue!!!!!! Corey you better batten down the hatches and light the fires. Sounds like were in for a nasty weekend.

lAST I HEARD WAS 4-16INCHES DEPENDING ON WHAT STATION YOU LISTED TO. iTS RAINING NOW AND FREEZING TO EVERYTHING LIGHTNING AND THUNDER AND GAIL FORCE WINDS NOT VERY NICE CANT WAIT TO GET PEPPER OUT HE GOT OUT OF HIS KENNEL WHEN I WAS DOING CHORES AND INTO THE RIVER BOTTOM HE WENT
NEVER STRUCK IN AND WE FOUND HIM A HALF NORTH OF THE HOUSE.

Marshalltown still has parts out of power but most of the town is on. As for as my town goes looking more like thursday before we have power.

Their saying thursday now and this storm suppose to make this one look like a popcorn fart. Their talking more ice and more snow with more wind. So i may not make troy either. You know i have been waiting for this comp season to get rolling and now this crap. I'm really getting sick of it already. I had plans on getting blue finished early but i dont think thats going to happen because you know we got other snow storm coming when the girls state basketball tourament gets here. THIS REALLY SUCKS !!!!!!!!!
