We have a few here. But we drive over to eastern Montana in the fall to find better hunting.

Getting ready for bow season. Still working for another month or so. Then deer,elk, and pheasant hunting til cat season starts in Dec. Then I can cat hunt these young females all winter.

Nothing yet. We have been out a couple times trying to find a bear to spot and stalk for the wife. Haven't had any elk action yet, but we're still trying.

No beef, just chicken. I mean pheasant. Getting ready to take the Shorthair to Montana and go pheasant hunting for a week. It's kind of a nice change being able to hunt hard all week and never have to climb a mountain. LOL

We just got back from our pheasant hunting trip to Montana. This was only our 2nd time going, but we are learning more all the time of where to go and how to find the birds. We had a great time and found quite a few birds. The dog is getting better at working the birds, and we're getting better at hitting them.

We'll just knock the rust off them in season. The GPS and shock collars will be charged up and ready to go. It's about time to start getting all our gear ready.

We made up a couple dozen more wolf snares the other day. We'll be running double duty and checking the wolf sets after looking for cat tracks.

No, they let me back in the country. We had a good time and caught 4 lions. Now I'm back home and it's raining like crazy.

Yeah, my dad caught two wolves a couple weeks ago. It's been tough to tell what's going on this winter. We haven't had good snow to find wolf or cat tracks until Christmas eve. But we got snow now. We found a decent track the other day, but it was too old to run. It was -6F yesterday.

It's been a month since our last wolf catch. We finally got another one. The activity always seems to pick up later in the winter. This seems slow, but it's the best we've done this early in the season.

Dustin I am still dreaming of owning a linebred Black Jack female to cross in on my Bluspeck dog. Haven't seen you post any pup pics in awhile. Will you be making any crosses soon?

We haven't been raising many pups the last couple years, but will still have some occasionally. I haven't forgot about you Doug. We've just had so few pups to go around lately.
