I'm not sure if this is the female Tommie had, though it may be. I was thinking his female was a little lighter colored. He sold her to a guy in Georgia about a year ago.
Had a great trip with Jerry, it just took six and a half hours from my house to get to Mr. Skinners. We sure had a good visit with him, it's not very often you get to sit and listen to guys that hunted with Elbert Vaughn. Of coarse, I got to hear stories about grandpa and his hounds, also, on the way down there. That meant a lot to me, since I was too young to get to know him, like I would have liked.
Through these hounds, I've got to meet a lot of great people. Thanks to everyone who has kept this line going!

There werent any light dogs in that litter, and the femlae I had was Reggies pick of the females, there wouldnt have been any that were darker left behind by Barbers pickings....lol....He wouldve picked a three legged dog that was a shade darker!!!...lol....
Ken, I will dig through some pictures I have and see if it is her, It has been about 16 months since she left my place, and I honestly cant tell you for sure, but I am almost certain that is ole sally!!

That's was a great looking hound, Wayne. He must have been a good one. Old Bragg, Hammer and Vaughn. Bears a strong resemblance to his uncle, on page 16 of this thread.

I know you guys have seen my "Little Rock" pup, but I thought I would give a report on him. He is 6 1/2 months old and been running and treeing since he was 5 months old. He started treeing his 3rd night in the woods and started running track the 5th night and hasnt taken a step back. I havnt been hunting him real heavy just once or sometimes twice a week. Dont want to over do it in this heat on such a young pup. Did go 3 times this week. He is looking extremely good. He just does more and more every time out. Ready to start going by himself. Havnt been this excited over a pup since Arkie and Rock. Will take some new pictures soon. He is tall and weighs about 60lbs now.

He is one of the earliest starting pups I have had. I guess Ive had 8 or 10 out of Arkie that started around 6 months. Usually they make pretty good dogs when they start that early, as long as you hunt them with good straight dogs and get them in the woods by themselves as soon as possible. I dont want to get over excited untill I get a few weeks on him alone. I am ready for Fall weather.

Well I told you that I was going to run em and I run em hard. Poor Titan anymore there has been nights that I said that I was going to lay him up for the night and I end up bringin him anyway. Saddie has some big ears right now but I will work with her on that. Elleigh Mae Had a cast win till they walked into the tree after 7 min gettin there and she took off on Ashton. For her first competiton from what I hear she did a bang up job.
